She was former President of the Shearer Hills Home Owner's Association and was very involved with her community. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, William S. Mabie; her parents and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Brown and husband. Howard; son, James R. Mabie and wife, Nancy; and grandchildren, Jason and Justin Brown, Antonio Braden and Benjamin Mabie. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:115 AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
William S. Mabie passed away on February 17, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 30, 1931 in Scheneuvs, New York to Arba Earl Mabie and Flora Ellen Kniffen Mabie. He served his country honorably, dedicating 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as MSGT He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who is dearly missed. William was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers. He is survived by his daughter and her husband; son and his wife; sister, Clara McCardle; brother, DeForest James Mabie; and five grandchildren. William was laid to rest on February 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, with full Air Force Honors.3

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Griswald Funeral Home, 1867 State St.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Calling hours will be after 7 p.m. tonight.12

Bev graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1954 before settling down with her husband Jerry in 1955 to start their family. Bay spent 20 years in North Wilmington raising, with Jerry, her three kids and actively participating along the way in school, little league, swim team, etc., and completing an 11 year banking career. Bev put down roots in San Antonio In 1994 and had been very active with church, friends, and membership In the Daughters of the King, as well as in her capacity as neighborhood grandma. History buff, beach-lover, gardener, voracious reader, bridge aficionado and one of the nicest people ever, Ma, Grandma, Bev will be sorely missed by everyone with whom she came in contact. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 1:00 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1416 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas.3

Born in Schenectady, Mrs. Plue was employed by St. Regis Paper Co. in Scotia. She was a member of the East Glenville Baseball Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, David F. Plue; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Rowledge of Scotia; four sons, Bern. Brian, Jeff and David Plue, all of Scotia; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore J Mabie of Schenectady; and a sister, Mrs. Madeline VonHought of Downingtown, Pa.
The Rev. Glenwood Cronin, pastor of Faith Baptist Church. Alplaus, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. The funeral home will be open after 7 tonight.6
