Lifelong resident of the Tillsonburg area. Member of the St. Paul's United Church (Tillsonburg) and P.P. of Unit 4 of the St. Paul's U.C.W. She was a dedicated volunteer Tour Guide and Gardener at Annandale House, Tillsonburg. Predeceased by her husband Charles "Chuck" Mabee (February, 14th 2004). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul Mabee and Diana, Ingersoll, and Heather Mabee and Rob, Milton, Ontario. Proud and loving grandmother of: David (Christa), Melissa (Kevin) and Christopher Mabee. Proud Great Grandmother of Stella & Max. Dear sister and sister-in-law of: Jack and Donelda Richardson, Tillsonburg; Bill and Elaine Richardson, Peterborough; Pat and Norm Woolcott, Okotoks, Alberta; and a brother-in-law Peter Hendrie, Vancouver, B.C; and sister-in-law Margie Mabee of Tillsonburg and the late Tom Mabee. Survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a much loved son David (1974), and a sister Letia (Millie), and a brother-in-law Tom Mabee (2014), and by her late parents Sidney Richardson and Bessie (Walther) Richardson. Friends and relatives will be received by the family on Thursday, January 22nd , 2015 evening from 7 to 9 at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-4238. Memorial Celebration of Life Service to be conducted on Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at 11am in the Verhoeve Funeral Home Chapel, Tillsonburg by Rev. Thomas Hiscock. Internment follows in the Mabee family plot in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations in Kathy's memory are only payable by cheque to the "Canadian Arthritis Society" or the "Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital" through the Verhoeve Funeral Home, Tillsonburg.3
