State of New York, County of Schenectady
     On this 17th day of June 1840 formally appeared before the Court of Common Pleas of the said County of Schenectady now sitting Helen Maybee of the town of Glenville in the said County aged seventy years who being duly examined and sworn deposeth and Saith that she is a daughter of Isaac & Nelly Palmatier deceased. That her mother the said Nelly Palmatier at the time of her death (which occurred on the 27th day of February 1837) was (as this (as this Declarant believes) entitled to a pension under the Act of Congress posted July 4, 1836, That the said Nelly Palmatier was duly married to the said Isaac Palmatier at Poughkeepsie NY many years previous to the War of the Revolution & that the marriage ceremony was performed by the Pastor of the Reformed Dutch Church at that place, as this Declarant has been frequently and credibly informed, but this Declarant is unable state the precise time when said marriage occurred but believed it was in the year1760. That the said Nelly Palmatier previous to her said marriage resided in said town of Poughkeepsie, and bore the maiden name of Van De Bogart. That after her said marriage, they moved to the County of Albany where they remained until after the said War of the Revolution when they returned to Poughkeepsie. And this Declarant further declares that her father the said Isaac Palmatier was a soldier of the United States during said War of the Revolution & was frequently called into service in the Albany County militia to which he belonged and that while in said service he was taken a prisoner by the British, conveyed to Canada, and retained in imprisonment for more than eighteen months. Declarant thinks for period of two years. That he was thus taken prisoner several years previous to the close of said War, and as this Declarant has been informed in the company with Lieutenant Pouter and a number of others the names of whom this Declarant cannot now remember. That this Declarant cannot state under what officers her father served, but well knows that he was frequently absent from home upon military expeditions from the commencement of the said War until the time of his capture as aforesaid. And this Declarant further testified that her father the said Isaac Palmatier departed this life five years previous to the decease of her mother as aforesaid and that her mother the said Nelly Palmatier remained the widow of the said Isaac until the said time of her decease to wit, the 27 day of February 1837 aforesaid. That Nelly Houghtaling of the town of — County of Steuben & state of New York, Hannah Vedder of the town of Truxton Courtland County in the said state, and this Declarant are the only surviving children of the said Isaac & Nelly Palmatier, the rest having long since departed this life to wit Maria, Helahantia, Sophia, Elizabeth, Catherine, and Sarah.

Davidson of Charlton and Mrs. Seely Patterson of Amsterdam, Mrs. W. A. Dividson of Charlton and Mrs. Walter Groff of Minaville, and two sisters living in Schenectady.8

oObit23 October 1933  On 23 October 1933 at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, the obituary of Elizabeth Mabee read: Elizabeth Maybee Reynolds. 84. wife of William E. Reynolds, died Saturday morning at 8 o'clock at the home of Fred Morris, in the town of Charleston, where she had resided for the past four years. Death was caused by pneumonia. She had been ill for two weeks.
Mrs. Reynolds was born on June 24. 1849, in Glenville, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Belle Maybee. She was a. member of the First Baptist church of Schenectady, and in later years attended the Presbyterian church of Charlton.
The survivors, besides her husband, are one son, Wilson Whitford, Schenectady; three daughters, Mrs. George Pfau. Mrs. David Hest, Mrs. James Mitchell, all of Schenectady, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and .nephews.
The body will be removed to the home of her daughter. Mrs. James Mitchell, 1419 McClellan street, Schenectady, where friends may call tonight. Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Theodore DeVries, pastor of the Charlton Presbyterian church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Scotia.

Burial* She was buried at Maple Shade Cemetery, Scotia, Schenectady County, New York. Inscription "wife of William Reynolds; 1849 - 1934."10

(Witness) oObit20 February 1943 Stephen Ulysses Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of John Benjamin Mabee on 20 February 1943 at Schenectady, New York; Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Healy and Mabee funeral home, Scotia, for John B. Mabee, retired General Electric Co. employe. He died Thursday at his home, 332 Mohawk avenue, Scotia. Burial will be in Park cemetery, Scotia, after services conducted by the Rev. Dow S. Clute, pastor of Scotia Methodist church.
He retired in January after 40 years with the local company. He attended Scotia Methodist church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Emma D. Baker Mabee, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Fuller; four sons, Henry, Frank, Orville and John B. Mabee; three brothers, Louis, Stephen and Delbert Mabee, and seven grandchildren, all of Scotia.11 
Memo*9 March 1957 Mr. and Mrs. Stephen U. Mabee of Bolt road, Glenville, held open house Wednesday in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary. Two nieces, Mrs. Wanda Mabee and Mrs. Thomas Irwin, were hostesses for the open house.
Approximately 100 relatives and friends attended. - Mr. and Mrs. Mabee were married March 6, 1907, by Rev Robert Rogers of the Glenville Reformed Church. Mrs. Mabee is the former Grace Gifford and was born in Glenville. Mr. Mabee was born in Albany county and worked as a market gardener for about 40 years.
Mrs. Mabee operates a poultry business in the Scotia area. The couple are members of the Glenville Center Methodist Church and of Glenridge Grange. Mrs. Mabee is also a member of the WSCS and of the "What-So-Ever" group of the church on 9 March 1957 at Schenectady, New York.12 
Death*10 June 1959 Stephen Ulysses Mabee died on 10 June 1959 at West Glenville, Schenectady County, New York, at age 88.1

Anecdote*11 April 1930 This was a two family house and John B, not Henry Mabee owned it. Henry and his family lived upstairs John and his remaining family lived downstairs. A couple of years later, brothers Frank and Henry started the funeral home downstairs there --- then in the 40's moved it to 1 Mohawk Ave. The grandparents, John and Emma, moved out and built a house at 25 and 27 Sacandaga Road.9
