Funeral*27 May 1934  On 27 May 1934 a funeral was held for Hester Ann Snarr at United Church, Wellman, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. "Funeral of Mrs. E. Maybee - Wellman's United Church was filled to the doors on Sunday afternoon with a host of relatives and friends to pay their last respects to the late Mrs. Emmanuel Maybee (nee Hester Snarr). Mount Pleasant Choir journeyed back and assisted and Miss Olive McConnell presided at the piano. The choir rendered an anthem, "She's Gone", and the Misses Olive McConnell and Edna Thrasher rendered a duet "Will That Home be Yours and Mine". The congregational hymns were "I Do Not Ask" and "Forever With The Lord". Rev. F. G. Joblin had charge of the service and the Standard Minister, Mr. Shadbolt spoke from Herbrew 11:26 on the subject " When Moses Made His Decision". The bearers were five grandsons Wilmot Maybee, Jack Preston, Everett Maybee, Ernest Maybee, Percy Coutts and Frederick Beckett."12 
oObit30 May 1934  On 30 May 1934 the obituary of Hester Ann Snarr read: Mrs. Emmanuel Maybee - Rawdon May 25 - Mrs. Maybee a life long resident of Rawdon Township, died at her home here this morning after an illness of two days. Mrs. Maybee was in her 84th year, seeminly enjoying good health of late. Her passing was received as a shock. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Snarr of Rawdon, her husband predeceasing her a few years ago.
One son George, now residing on the old homestead, lives to mourn the loss of mother, while six grandchildren and six great grandchildren sadly miss their loved relative. Three sisters, Mrs. Bedford and Mrs. Bailey of Rawdon and Mrs. Judd of Chicago and her two brothers Thomas and Fred of Rawdon survive.
The funeral will held on Sunday afternoon from Wellman's United Church and Interment in Wellman's Cemetery.10 
Burial* She was buried at Wellman, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.13

(Witness) Funeral27 May 1934 Wilmot Rowe Maybee attended the funeral of Hester Ann Snarr on 27 May 1934 at United Church, Wellman, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada; Funeral of Mrs. E. Maybee - Wellman's United Church was filled to the doors on Sunday afternoon with a host of relatives and friends to pay their last respects to the late Mrs. Emmanuel Maybee (nee Hester Snarr). Mount Pleasant Choir journeyed back and assisted and Miss Olive McConnell presided at the piano. The choir rendered an anthem, "She's Gone", and the Misses Olive McConnell and Edna Thrasher rendered a duet "Will That Home be Yours and Mine". The congregational hymns were "I Do Not Ask" and "Forever With The Lord". Rev. F. G. Joblin had charge of the service and the Standard Minister, Mr. Shadbolt spoke from Herbrew 11:26 on the subject " When Moses Made His Decision". The bearers were five grandsons Wilmot Maybee, Jack Preston, Everett Maybee, Ernest Maybee, Percy Coutts and Frederick Beckett.7 
(Witness) oObit23 June 1952 Wilmot Rowe Maybee was mentioned in the obituary of James Edward Maybee on 23 June 1952 at Schenectady, New York; James E. Maybee, 51, of 1864 Fiero avenue died yesterday at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m from the Bond funeral home with Rev. Delbert Smith officiating. A native of Harold, Ontario, Canada, Maybee was employed here at the GE Knolls atomic laboratory and was a member of the Fisher Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Isabell Striker Maybee, a son Edward Maybee, a daughter, Carol Ann; three brothers, Everett, Willmot and Ernest, all of Harold, Canada; two sisters, Mrs Jack Preston of Harold and Mrs Percy Coutts of Toronto, Canada; also several nieces and nephews.8 
Death*4 September 1973 Wilmot Rowe Maybee died on 4 September 1973 at age 75.9

(Witness) Funeral27 May 1934 Ernest Daniel Maybee attended the funeral of Hester Ann Snarr on 27 May 1934 at United Church, Wellman, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada; Funeral of Mrs. E. Maybee - Wellman's United Church was filled to the doors on Sunday afternoon with a host of relatives and friends to pay their last respects to the late Mrs. Emmanuel Maybee (nee Hester Snarr). Mount Pleasant Choir journeyed back and assisted and Miss Olive McConnell presided at the piano. The choir rendered an anthem, "She's Gone", and the Misses Olive McConnell and Edna Thrasher rendered a duet "Will That Home be Yours and Mine". The congregational hymns were "I Do Not Ask" and "Forever With The Lord". Rev. F. G. Joblin had charge of the service and the Standard Minister, Mr. Shadbolt spoke from Herbrew 11:26 on the subject " When Moses Made His Decision". The bearers were five grandsons Wilmot Maybee, Jack Preston, Everett Maybee, Ernest Maybee, Percy Coutts and Frederick Beckett.8

Maybee, 51, of 1864 Fiero avenue died yesterday at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m from the Bond funeral home with Rev. Delbert Smith officiating. A native of Harold, Ontario, Canada, Maybee was employed here at the GE Knolls atomic laboratory and was a member of the Fisher Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Isabell Striker Maybee, a son Edward Maybee, a daughter, Carol Ann; three brothers, Everett, Willmot and Ernest, all of Harold, Canada; two sisters, Mrs Jack Preston of Harold and Mrs Percy Coutts of Toronto, Canada; also several nieces and nephews.9

Maybee, 51, of 1864 Fiero avenue died yesterday at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m from the Bond funeral home with Rev. Delbert Smith officiating. A native of Harold, Ontario, Canada, Maybee was employed here at the GE Knolls atomic laboratory and was a member of the Fisher Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Isabell Striker Maybee, a son Edward Maybee, a daughter, Carol Ann; three brothers, Everett, Willmot and Ernest, all of Harold, Canada; two sisters, Mrs Jack Preston of Harold and Mrs Percy Coutts of Toronto, Canada; also several nieces and nephews.5

She met her husband, Edwin Duane Weibert, in January of 1941, and they were married on August 16, 1941. Together they owned and operated the Jet coffee Shop, working side by side for 26 years. The restaurant was know for Hazel's famous homemade pies. She would bake as many as 50 pies a day. She would never let anyone enter her pies in the Fair, but everyone who ate them knew they were all blue ribbon winter. They sold the business and retired in 1984, and spent their leisure time traveling, spending time at the family ranch in North Fork, and attending their five grandsons' educational achievements and sporting events.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eddie; two sons, Arlen and Dennis; their wives, Gayle and Katy; four grandsons, Vince, Michael, Matthew and Nathaniel Weibert, all of Clovis, and a brother, Harold Maybee of Fishtail, MT.
Visitation will be held at Yost & Webb Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2000,
from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M.

oObit*8 May 2003  On 8 May 2003 at The Billings News, Billings, Montana, the obituary of Harold Louis Maybee read: Services were held May 2, 2003, for Harold Maybee, 88, former owner of a tent and awning company in California. The son of Louis and Lila Maybee, he was born Aug. 21, 1914, in Fresno, Calif. The fifth of seven siblings, he designed and built a glider at the age of 16. He later built a mountain cabin at Bass Lake, Calif. During the Depression, he served in the Civil Conservation Corps. Later, at Pacific Tent and Awning, he went from sweeping floors to sales manager and community liaison within a year. He married Marjorie Grace Griset on March 17, 1940. They lived in Fresno and in Santa Ana, Calif., where he operated a canvas manufacturing firm. He eventually became sole owner of Maybee Tent and Awning Co. in San Bernardino, Calif. In San Bernardino, Mr. Maybee served as chapter president of the Christian Business Men's Committee and on the boards of the Salvation Army and the First Assembly of God Church. He was a member of Rotary Club International for 28 years and was in the formation committee for the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. With the help of two friends, Mr. Maybee designed the rebuilding of a 42-foot boat that was docked in San Diego, Calif. He served as commander of the U.S. Power Squadron and taught a course in celestial navigation at San Bernardino Valley College. In 1969, Mr. and Mrs. Maybee retired in Fishtail. He was known for his culinary skills and in his 70s worked as a cook for a hunting outfitter in the Beartooth Mountains. He was a member of Columbus Assembly of God Church and later attended Grace Fellowship Four Square Church in Absarokee.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Judith Goodbar, Barbara Uzri and Gail Briceno; a son, Daryl; 10 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and 14 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Visitation was on May 1 at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Services were at Grace Fellowship Four Square Church in Absarokee with interment in Rosebud Cemetery.14 
Burial* He and Marjorie Grace Maybee were buried at Rosebud Cemetery, Absarokee, Stillwater County, Montana. Inscription "MAYBEE; Harold L; Aug 21, 1914; Apr 28, 2003; married Mar 17, 1940; Marjorie G; Nov15, 1917."15
