oObit*4 September 1960  On 4 September 1960 at Binghamton, New York, the obituary of Clayton Gaston Mabey read: Clayton G. Mabey. 87. of Sidney. N. Y. died Saturday morning at The Hospital following a short illness. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Frederick North of White Plains and three grandchildren. A graduate of Colgate University, he was a former principal of Sidney High School, and for many years was a partner in the Wheeler & Mabey Real Estate and Insurance firm. Mr. Mabey was a member of Sidney Congregational Church, Sidney Masonic Lodge a former president of Sidney Library Board of Trustees and a life member of Sidney Chamber of Commerce. The body was removed to the C. H. Landers Funeral Chapel at Sidney where funeral service! will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday by the Rev. Wallace E. Cedarleaf. pastor of Sidney Congregational Church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.12

Mabey on 9 December 1915 at 21 Sherwood Street, Auburn, New York; The funeral of Menzo Mabey was held from his late home, No. 21 Sherwood Street, yesterday afternoon at 10 o'clock. Rev. C. C. Roszell, pastor of the First M. E. Church, officiated. A large number of friends the a n d relatives attended. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. Burial was made in Fleming.
The bearers were Scott Bowen, Edward Snyder, Sidney Smith, James Weir, Edward Robinson and Mr. Laminough.
Those present from ont of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barker of Genoa, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Wooley of Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Simon Ketcbam of Moravia. Mrs. W. A. Wood of Moravia. Charles Hall of Groton. Mr. and Mrs. C. Nilson of Syracuse and George Marks and Sidney Smith of Seneca Falls.
Mrs. Mabey and daughter, Mrs. Robert Holcomb. greatly appreciate the sympathy which their many friends extended them. They alsowish to thank those who sent flowers.7

oObit*19 November 1924  On 19 November 1924 at Stamford, New York, the obituary of William H. Mabee read: William H. Mabey, a former resident of Stamford, died of a shock at the home of his son, Monroe C. Mabey of Otego, Friday evening, being 84 years old. Mr. Mabey had made his home with his son for the last two years, after coming from Stamford. Surviving are Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Mabey of Otego and a granddaughter, Mrs. Dwight C. Sanly, of Franklin.
Funeral services were held at the home of his son on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Evergreen cemetery. Rev. Richard Fortran, pastor of the Otego Baptist Church officiating.11 
Burial He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Otego, Otsego County, New York.12
