Memorials may be made to Pauline Church of Christ or Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
Mr. Maybay, widower of Helen M. Maybay, died Thursday, June 10, 2004. Born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Delphine Chaput Maybay. Formerly of Marlborough, Massachusetts, he had been a local resident here since 1957 and attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mr. Maybay had retired from the United States Army serving during World War II and also had retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a Charter Member of The Charlie Spivack Society for the Preservation of Big Band Music.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Michele A. and James Cook of Elgin; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul G. and Deborah Maybay of Fairview Crossroads, Michael T. Maybay of Columbia, and Vincent A. and Teresa L. Maybay of Lexington; sister, Antoinette Richer of Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mr. Maybay was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Maybay and brother, Dr. Arthur Maybay.6

She was the wife of Dr. Arthur G. Richer, who died in 1977. Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Delphine (Chaput) Maybay. Mrs. Richer graduated from St. Anne's Academy, Class of 1934. She was a member of St. Michael Parish, Hudson, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She leaves her sons, Dr. Paul Richer of Boston, Arthur F. Richer and his wife, Sylvia, of Bloomsburg, Pa., and Dr. David Richer of Marlborough; her daughters, Dianne Houde and her husband, Robert, of Medway and Rosemary Earle and her husband, Eric, of Meredith, N.H; her grandchildren, Kristen Monsour of Southborough, Matthew Wernborg of Holliston, Andrea Wernborg of Brunswick, Maine, Megan Oldfield of Danville, Pa., Jeffrey Richer of Panama City, Fla., and Benjamin Richer, of Louisville, Ky; and her great-grandchildren, Zak and Luke Monsour, Phoebe Wernborg, Rainey and Lilla Oldfield, and Kaylen, Anissa Erin and Benjamin Richer. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Paul Maybay. A funeral service will be private.7

Mr. Maybay, widower of Helen M. Maybay, died Thursday, June 10, 2004. Born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Delphine Chaput Maybay. Formerly of Marlborough, Massachusetts, he had been a local resident here since 1957 and attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Mr. Maybay had retired from the United States Army serving during World War II and also had retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a Charter Member of The Charlie Spivack Society for the Preservation of Big Band Music.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Michele A. and James Cook of Elgin; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul G. and Deborah Maybay of Fairview Crossroads, Michael T. Maybay of Columbia, and Vincent A. and Teresa L. Maybay of Lexington; sister, Antoinette Richer of Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mr. Maybay was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia Maybay and brother, Dr. Arthur Maybay.5 
Burial* He was buried at Pauline Church of Christ Cemetery, Leesville, Lexington County, South Carolina. Inscription "SFC US ARMY WORLD WAR II."6,7

She met her future husband, Joe Mabee, while visiting her sister in Hutchington, Kansas. They were married in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Mrs Mabee and her husband built the Open AJ Ranch, a dude ranch, in a primitive area of Idaho and operated until 1952. They moved to Bend, Reno, Colorado and Southern Oregon before retiring in Colbert.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Joe and Susan Mabee of Klamath Falls; daughter and special friend Carolyn Mabee and Stan Strago of Alaska; granddaughter, Tonya Mabee, great-grandson Darien Mabee, brother and sister in law, Rudy and Georgia Brunholtz; and sisters and brother in law, Donna and Joe Vogel, Cecelia Belk, and Margaret Long.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; brother Johnny; and sisters, Emma and Karla.11

Mabee, 73, Klamath Falls, Ore formerly Boise Valley, who died Wednesday in Klamath Falls, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morris Hill Cemetery by Pastor Orin Hardbrook, Star Christian Church, under the direction of Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel.
He was born Jan 26, 1903, in Middleton, and was reared in Boise Valley. He lived in Middleton and Eagle and was in the cattle business with his father for several years. In 1945, he established a dude ranch on Big Creek in the Primitive Area northeast of McCall
In 1953 he moved to Reno and operated a construction business until his retirement. He later moved to Klamath Falls.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, Klamath Falls, three daughters, Mrs Genevive Errebo and Billy Jean both Boise, and Caroline Jo Mabee, Klamath Falls, and a son, Joseph James, Klamath Falls.2

oObit*22 October 2009  On 22 October 2009 at Boise, Idaho, the obituary of Genevive Catherine Mabee read: Genevieve Catherine Mabee Errebo, 83, passed away at her home on October 14, 2009. Genevieve was born in Star, Idaho on April 8, 1926. She graduated from St. Teresa's Academy in Boise and attended St. Mary of the Wasatch College in Salt Lake where she obtained a degree as a dental hygienist. She loved animals and was an accomplished equestrian and a founder of the Boise Open Horse Show. She was also an AHSA horse show judge for 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her special uncle Herbert B. Mabee and her sister Billie Jean.3,11
