Mr Mabee was born in Macopin, NJ, April eighteenth 1862, a son of Abram and Annie Decker Mabee. His wife was the former Emeline Johnson. Surviving are five children, Harvey R and Clifford, both of Wisner; Walter of Sugar Loaf, Myra, wife of Charles A Benedict of Bellvale, and Mary, wife of Howard Quackenbush of Warwick. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs Mary J Montross of Ramsey, NJ, and Anna, wife of George Fitzgerald of Monroe. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the home in Wisner. The Rev John R Lennon will officiate, assisted by the Rev Seely Quackenbush. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery.5 |

He was born at Echo Lake, NJ, May 6, 1850, a son of Abram Mabee and Annie Decker. He has been living on his farm home on the New Milford-Warwick road until recently when he came to live with his daughter, Mrs Quackenbush. He married Adaline L Smith who died a few years ago. Funeral services were held at the home of Seely Quackenbush on Sunday, Rev Taber Knox officiating. Burial in Warwick Cemetery. Mr Mabee is survived by two daughters, Mrs Seely Quackenbush and Mrs Seely Decker, both of Warwick.14 |

Mr Mabee was born in Macopin, NJ, April eighteenth 1862, a son of Abram and Annie Decker Mabee. His wife was the former Emeline Johnson. Surviving are five children, Harvey R and Clifford, both of Wisner; Walter of Sugar Loaf, Myra, wife of Charles A Benedict of Bellvale, and Mary, wife of Howard Quackenbush of Warwick. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs Mary J Montross of Ramsey, NJ, and Anna, wife of George Fitzgerald of Monroe. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the home in Wisner. The Rev John R Lennon will officiate, assisted by the Rev Seely Quackenbush. He was a farmer He is survived by one son, John, of Los Angeles, Cal; one sister, Mrs Anna Shater, of Orange, NJ, two grandchildren, John and Fred Mabee; one great-grandchild, Louise Head, of Hamburg, NJ. The funeral was held on Friday, August 14, at the late home. Interment was in the North Hardyston Cemetery.15 |
