Mr Mabie was born July 18, 1871, near Camden, N. Y. He removed to Green Valley seventeen years ago. He came to Moline last September and had been employed since then in the Moline Plow Co. Shops. He was married to Miss Daisy Jones at Green River, and she survives, with two children. The young man's father, T. O. Mabie , of Moline and a sister, Mrs Albert Kane, living near Green River, also survive.
The remains will be taken Wednesday to Colona and interment will be made in the Green River cemetery.6

Mabie, East Moline, since 1920, died at 6:30 last evening in Moline City Hospital, where he recently underwent an operation.
Mr. Mabie was born in Albany, NY, August 23, 1847. He was the son of Stephen George and Phoebe Jane Robbins Mabie. He was married to Cora Kane at Taberg, NY December l, 1869.
Mr. Mabie moved to Green River, Ill. in 1886 where he engaged in the cheese manufacturing business until 1902. Since retiring from business, Mr. Mabie had resided with relatives, having lived with a daughter, Mrs. Albert Kane of Muscatine, until 1920.
Preceding Mr. Mabie in death were five brothers, Edmund Robbins Mabie, Franklin George Mabie, Orlando Edward Mabie, Augustus Smith Mabie and Clarence Gilbert Mabie; one sister, Mrs. Mary Theresa Parks, and one son Warren E. Mabie.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kane of Muscatine and five grandchildren. Thomas O. Mabie and Edmond R. Mabie of East Moline, Mrs. Cora Daniel, Mrs. Jessie Ehrlich and Carl Albert Kane, all of Muscatine, and four great-grandchildren, Amarillis and Theodore Orville Mabie, Marjorie Isabelle Bowen and Helen Jane Daniel of Muscatine.
The funeral was held at Wendt Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. M. Jones of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, East Moline.11 
(Mentioned) oObit31 October 1935 Edmund Rayfield Mabie was mentioned in the obituary of of Daisy May Jones on 31 October 1935 at Davenport, Iowa; Mrs Daisy Mae Perkins, 56, of 1329 Eighth avenue, East Moline, died suddenly Wednesday evening after suffering an attack of apoplexy at 8:30 p. m. while preparing to go to a Halloween party. Death occurred about midnight.
Mrs Perkins had resided in East Moline 19 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star chapter.
Daisy Jones was born in Indiana Oct 21, 1879. She married Warren Mabie in 1898. He died in 1903. She married Austin Perkins in Colona in 1906 and the family moved to East Moline in 1916. Mr Perkins died July 5, 1929.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Mabie of Enid, Okla., and Edmund Mabie of East Moline, and five daughters, Mrs Dorothy Fee of Carbon Cliff, Mrs Virginia Livesay of Moline, Donna Mae, Enid, and Florence Perkins, all at home. A daughter Ada died in infancy, She also leaves her mother, Mrs Evan Jones of East Moline, and five brothers, Edward, William, Perry and Ralph Jones, all of East Moline, and Earl Jones of New York City.
The body was taken to the Wendt Brtos. Funeral home in East Moline.12

She was a member of East Moline Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Wasson, East Moline, and Pearl (Marvin) Johnston, East Moline; grandchildren, Greg (Barbara) Ackerland, Scott (Jamie) Ackerland, Suzanne Niner, Brett Ackerland, and Matthew (Amanda) Johnston; great- grandchildren, Marshall, Jay, Austin, Troy, Amber, Amanda, Dakota, Wyatt, Dylan, Kadie, Taeylor, Danny, Katie, Brittany, Jessica, Cassidy and Bradley; 15 great-great-grandchildren; niece, Lynne Bell; nephews, Richard and Gerald Reeve. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Bond, Edith Reeve and Grace Peacock, and brother, George Cresswell.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private graveside services will be held at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.7

Mr Mabie was born July 18, 1871, near Camden, N. Y. He removed to Green Valley seventeen years ago. He came to Moline last September and had been employed since then in the Moline Plow Co. Shops. He was married to Miss Daisy Jones at Green River, and she survives, with two children. The young man's father, T. O. Mabie , of Moline and a sister, Mrs Albert Kane, living near Green River, also survive.
The remains will be taken Wednesday to Colona and interment will be made in the Green River cemetery.3

Mabie, East Moline, since 1920, died at 6:30 last evening in Moline City Hospital, where he recently underwent an operation.
Mr. Mabie was born in Albany, NY, August 23, 1847. He was the son of Stephen George and Phoebe Jane Robbins Mabie. He was married to Cora Kane at Taberg, NY December l, 1869.
Mr. Mabie moved to Green River, Ill. in 1886 where he engaged in the cheese manufacturing business until 1902. Since retiring from business, Mr. Mabie had resided with relatives, having lived with a daughter, Mrs. Albert Kane of Muscatine, until 1920.
Preceding Mr. Mabie in death were five brothers, Edmund Robbins Mabie, Franklin George Mabie, Orlando Edward Mabie, Augustus Smith Mabie and Clarence Gilbert Mabie; one sister, Mrs. Mary Theresa Parks, and one son Warren E. Mabie.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kane of Muscatine and five grandchildren. Thomas O. Mabie and Edmond R. Mabie of East Moline, Mrs. Cora Daniel, Mrs. Jessie Ehrlich and Carl Albert Kane, all of Muscatine, and four great-grandchildren, Amarillis and Theodore Orville Mabie, Marjorie Isabelle Bowen and Helen Jane Daniel of Muscatine.
The funeral was held at Wendt Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. M. Jones of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, East Moline.9 
(Mentioned) oObit31 October 1935 Tom Orlando Mabie was mentioned in the obituary of of Daisy May Jones on 31 October 1935 at Davenport, Iowa; Mrs Daisy Mae Perkins, 56, of 1329 Eighth avenue, East Moline, died suddenly Wednesday evening after suffering an attack of apoplexy at 8:30 p. m. while preparing to go to a Halloween party. Death occurred about midnight.
Mrs Perkins had resided in East Moline 19 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star chapter.
Daisy Jones was born in Indiana Oct 21, 1879. She married Warren Mabie in 1898. He died in 1903. She married Austin Perkins in Colona in 1906 and the family moved to East Moline in 1916. Mr Perkins died July 5, 1929.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Mabie of Enid, Okla., and Edmund Mabie of East Moline, and five daughters, Mrs Dorothy Fee of Carbon Cliff, Mrs Virginia Livesay of Moline, Donna Mae, Enid, and Florence Perkins, all at home. A daughter Ada died in infancy, She also leaves her mother, Mrs Evan Jones of East Moline, and five brothers, Edward, William, Perry and Ralph Jones, all of East Moline, and Earl Jones of New York City.
The body was taken to the Wendt Brtos. Funeral home in East Moline.10

Mabie, 42, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday at her home, four miles south of Syracuse, of carcinoma after an illness of two years. Born April 21, 1906, near Syracuse, the daughter of Samuel and Ann Strieby Miller, she married at Syracuse March 20, 1923. She has lived in the Syracuse vicinity all her life and was a member of the Trinity E.U.B. church, at Syracuse. Surviving are her husband; a son, Arthur, 15; a daughter, Sally 7; the mother, Anna Miller, Syracuse; and five brothers, Earl Miller, of Syracuse, Charles and George of Mishawaka, Rutherford, of near LaPorte, and Oliver, address unknown. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity E.U.B. church, Syracuse, with the pastor, Rev. Robert Cox, officiating. Burial will be made in the Syracuse cemetery. Friends may call at the Carr funeral home, Syracuse.5

Born September 12, 1905, in Warsaw, he was the son of Bert and Emma Lloyd Mabie. On April 22, he married Phyllis Miller, who died in 1950. Seven years later, on the 12th of January, he married Florence Foster; she survives.
A lifetime Syracuse-area resident, he owned and operated the former Star Clothing Store in Syracuse, and Milford Shoe and Clothing. Mr. Mabie was also a farmer and a member of Kosciusko County Farm Bureau.
Surviving in addition to his widow are one daughter, Mrs. Sally Brown; one son, Mr. Arthur Mabie of Lakeland, Florida; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.8 
Death*15 February 2011 Arthur Lamar Mabie died on 15 February 2011 at Lakeland, Polk County, Florida, at age 75.9
