He was born May 17, 1906, in New Milford, to Howard and Anna Mabee Hedges. He was married to the former Dorothy Youmans.
Mr Hedges had lived here one year and was affiliated with the Methodist Church of Edenville, He was a retired welder having worked for the Goshen Public Works Dept.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs Marie Crover of Warwick and Mrs Evelyn Zacharewicz of Middletown; a grandson; two sisters, Mrs Mildred Miller of Edenville and Mrs Madeline Paffenroth of Warwick and nieces and nephews.
The Rev Robert Smyres will conduct services at 2 in the Lazear-Smith Funeral Home, Warwick. Burial will be in the Warwick Cemetery.8
