Mrs. Finch was a member of the Baptist church at Taberg, having joined by letter from a church in Green County. Her church home was some distance away, and in Camden she attended the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Finch was a Christian in every sense of the word, a devoted mother, loving wife, and a true friend. For the past two years she has been an invalid, and suffered with patience the gradual process of her physical troubles. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Orlando Mabie, who have the warmest sympathy in their sorrow. She also leaves five brothers. Wilson and Osee Paddock of Camden, Albert of South Durham. Milan of East Durham and Charles Paddock of Cairo, Green County. The funeral will be held from the late home Saturday at 3 p.m. It is expected Rev. Barry of the Taberg Baptist church and Rev. Richard Abbott of the Presbyterian church in this village, will officiate. Interment in Camden cemetery.2 |
