Mabie, 94, of Angola, Ind, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Mallory, 1227 Maple Row, where she spent the last three months. Prior to two weeks ago she had been in good health. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Saturday at the Methodist Episcopal church at Flint, Ind, where burial will also take place. The body was taken to Angola today, accompanied by Elkhart relatives. Mrs. Mabie was born Oct 22, 1833, at Dayton, O. Her husband Robert Mabie, died 37 years ago. She is survived by six children, the daughter named above; George Mabie, Mrs. Doan Somerlott and Alonza Mabie, all of Angola, and Will Mabie of Coldwater Mich., and Mrs. Frank DeGaugh of Hamilton, Ind. There was also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.12

She leaves to mourn her departure, 3 sons, 3 daughters. Clara DeGaugh of Hamilton; George of Flint; Alonzo of Flint; Elmira Sommerlott of Angola; Nellie [William] Mabie of Coldwater, Michigan; Zetta Mallory of Elkhart, Ind. and 17 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
After the death of her husband for a number of years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clara DeGaugh. Since the death of her husband, she had made her home with her son, Alonzo.
A friend always in time of need, and generous to a fault, everyone who knew her learned to love her.
