Mr Mabie was the son of the late Peter Mabie and the late Ann Geline [Angelina] Osborn Demarest, old Hackensack residents.
Mr Mabie, employed at the Manhattan Rubber manufacturing division of the Raybestos-Manhattan, Inc, is survived by his wife, Mrs Anna Mabie, three daughters, Mrs H Harrison of Clifton, Mrs J DeKoyer of Paramus, and Miss Marion Mabie, at home. He still has a living aunt, Mrs Tillie Osborn, residing in Garfield and several relatives in Hackensack.
He was a member of Everyman's Bible Class of Rutherford, and the Junior O.U.A.M.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Rast Rutherford home with the Rev Fred Masters Halloway, pastor of the Rutherford Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Lodi Cemetery.12

(Mentioned) oObit25 September 1908 Clara Healy was mentioned in the obituary of of Frederick B Mabie on 25 September 1908 at Paterson, New Jersey; Frederick Mabie, a veteran of the civil war, died at his late residence, No. 11 Bank street, yesterday, in the presence of the members of his family. The deceased was sixty-three years of age and was a member of Chaplin Butler Post, No 35, GAR. For the past seven years he was confined to his bed with rheumatism, and it was only because of his remarkable vitality that he was able to undergo such intense suffering for so long a period. Up to twelve years ago the deceased was a resident of Ridgewood, and was at one time a prosperous contractor, the particular line which he followed being well digging. His malady prevented him from continuing his business and during recent years he has been an invalid. He is survived by his wife, two sons, four daughters, besides four brothers and a sister. His sons are John and Peter Mabie of Ridgewood, and his daughters, Mrs A. Dunlap, Mrs W. Goodell, Mrs P Nichols, of Ridgewood, and Mrs DeWitt Healey of Waldwick.6

The deceased was sixty-three years of age and was a member of Chaplin Butler Post, No 35, GAR. For the past seven years he was confined to his bed with rheumatism, and it was only because of his remarkable vitality that he was able to undergo such intense suffering for so long a period. Up to twelve years ago the deceased was a resident of Ridgewood, and was at one time a prosperous contractor, the particular line which he followed being well digging. His malady prevented him from continuing his business and during recent years he has been an invalid. He is survived by his wife, two sons, four daughters, besides four brothers and a sister. His sons are John and Peter Mabie of Ridgewood, and his daughters, Mrs A. Dunlap, Mrs W. Goodell, Mrs P Nichols, of Ridgewood, and Mrs DeWitt Healey of Waldwick.6

oObit*3 November 1921  On 3 November 1921 at Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey, the obituary of Emma Dunlap and Ann Mabie read: Mrs. Anna Mabie, widow of Frederick Mabie, died on Sunday following an Illness of several months' duration. On Monday the daughter of Mrs. Mabie, Mrs. Emma Dunlap, wife of Abraham Dunlap. died after an illness of but three weeks' extent. The funeral of mother and daughter was held yesterday afternoon a t 2 o'clock, in 68 Hamburgh avenue. The services were conducted by the Rev. David Stuart Hamilton, DD, of St. Paul's Episcopal church, and the interment
took place in Valleau cemetery, Paramus. Many friends attended the ceremony ana extended their sympathies to the bereaved.9
