Mrs Quackenbush was born in Vernon Township, February seventeenth, 1879, a daughter of Thomas and Adaline Smith Mabee. She was married to the Rev Mr Quackenbush at the Mabee Homestead in New Milford, April eight, 1896, and had lived in the vicinity all her life. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church here.
Besides her husband Mrs Quackenbush leaves two sons, Seely Jr and Harold of Suffern; a daughter, Mrs Fred Jackson at home; three grandchildren in Suffern, and a niece, Mrs Bernice Smith Buss of Greenwood Lake who was reared by Mrs Quackenbush.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the home on West street with the Rev Charles V Sanford and the Rev John C Mierop officiating. Burial will be in Warwick.3

Riggs was mentioned in the obituary of Bertrand Cyrus Mabie on 16 September 1932 at Sussex, Sussex County, New Jersey; Bertrand Cyrus Mabie, well known farmer of near Colesville, was found dead in bed at his farm home there early Saturday morning by his hired man, Saul Hotalan. When the hired man arose in the morning to get ready for the milking he called to Mr. Mabie. Calling again and receiving no response he went to his room. He discovered him dead. Neighbors were notified. Coroner George H McCloughan, Jr., of Newton, was called. Death was believed due to heart trouble. Mr Mabie was in his sixtieth year. He was the son of Nicholas A. Mabie and Eliza E. Riggs Mabie. He was a lifelong resident of Wantage Township and was a successful farmer. He was twice married. His second wife, Daisy Maude Conway, died a few years ago. He is survived by his aged mother, who resides with a daughter, Mrs Albert Havens, of Wantage; a young son, Bertrand C. Mabie Jr; one brother, Judson D. Mabie, of Lindhurst, L. I; two sisters, Lela E. Wife of Parker McCoy, of Sussex; and Nina A., wife of Albert Havens, of Wantage. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of the sister, Mrs Parker McCoy, with Rev. W. H. Yarrow, pastor of Colesville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Deckerville-Union Cemetery.12 
Death*22 December 1933 Eliza E. Riggs died on 22 December 1933 at age 93.13

He is survived by his aged mother, who resides with a daughter, Mrs Albert Havens, of Wantage; a young son, Bertrand C. Mabie Jr; one brother, Judson D. Mabie, of Lindhurst, L. I; two sisters, Lela E. Wife of Parker McCoy, of Sussex; and Nina A., wife of Albert Havens, of Wantage. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of the sister, Mrs Parker McCoy, with Rev. W. H. Yarrow, pastor of Colesville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Deckerville-Union Cemetery.9

Mabie, 880 Manhattan avenue, died Monday. She was born in Jersey City, N. J., forty-nine years ago and had been a resident of Greenpolnt for twenty-eight years.
She is survived by her husband Judson D. Mabie, proprietor of a drug store at 880 Manhattan avenue and one son, Derwood J. Mabie.
Funeral services were held at her late home Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Burial was made yesterday afternoon under the direction of Boch Funeral Directors.12,13

Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of Bertrand Cyrus Mabie on 16 September 1932 at Sussex, Sussex County, New Jersey; Bertrand Cyrus Mabie, well known farmer of near Colesville, was found dead in bed at his farm home there early Saturday morning by his hired man, Saul Hotalan. When the hired man arose in the morning to get ready for the milking he called to Mr. Mabie. Calling again and receiving no response he went to his room. He discovered him dead. Neighbors were notified. Coroner George H McCloughan, Jr., of Newton, was called. Death was believed due to heart trouble. Mr Mabie was in his sixtieth year. He was the son of Nicholas A. Mabie and Eliza E. Riggs Mabie. He was a lifelong resident of Wantage Township and was a successful farmer. He was twice married. His second wife, Daisy Maude Conway, died a few years ago. He is survived by his aged mother, who resides with a daughter, Mrs Albert Havens, of Wantage; a young son, Bertrand C. Mabie Jr; one brother, Judson D. Mabie, of Lindhurst, L. I; two sisters, Lela E. Wife of Parker McCoy, of Sussex; and Nina A., wife of Albert Havens, of Wantage. oObit*8 November 1945  On 8 November 1945 at Olean, New York, the obituary of William Henry Maybee read: Funeral services for William Henry Maybee, a resident of Friendship for many years, will be held Friday afternoon (November 9, 1945) at two o'clock at the home here. The Rev Martz Snyder, pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church will officiate and burial will be in Belfast.
Mr Maybee died at his home Tuesday (November 6, 1945). He was born in Allentown March 2, 1878, the son of Phillip and Lydia Maybee. He was a member of the Maccabees and the First Baptist Church of Friendship. Surviving are his wife Mrs Una Matthews Maybee, two sons, Guy L. Maybee, Olean and Paul Maybee Lancaster; one daughter Mrs Katherine Lehman, Belmont; and one sister, Mrs Elizabeth Weatherby, Oklahoma City, Okla.9 
Burial He and Una B. Mathews were buried at Riverside Cemetery, Belfast, Allegany County, New York.10

Anecdote* It is probable (although there is no direct proof) that Ella's birth parents were Josiah Smith and Maria Richards, there are three indicators of their identity:
Josiah (born circa 1823 in New York) and Maria (born circa 1825 in England) appear in the 1860 census in Granger Township, Allegany County, New York, but in no subsequent records. This could indicate that they died and their children were put up for adoption.
In the 1855 census, Maria's brother Robert Richards is listed in her home.      
Ella's 1865 census shows she was born inAllegany County, New York and lived about 8 miles from Granger Township.
Ella's 1880 census record states that her mother was born in England, and Maria was one of only two Smith mothers in Allegany county in 1860 who were born in England. The other was Caroline Smith, wife of Largins - but she is known to be Caroline Dunn. She and her husband moved to Michigan, with their children.3 
Married Name Her married name was Yencer.4

Burial was in the Snyder cemetery. He was a son of the late Josiah and Lodiska Merithew Yencer and had lived all his life in this vicinity. He leaves one daughter, Mrs Ed gilbert, his wife, three sisters, Mrs charles Criddle, Mrs Charles Beardsely and Miss Jennie Yencer, all of Nunda, and one brother, Emory Yencer of Dalton.10
