Mr. Perry was married six times. His first wife was Miss Eunice Marie Grant, a daughter of William Grant, who was a cousin of Jesse Grant, the father of the late General, and ex- President Grant. They were married December 8, 1829. They had four children, Mrs. John W. Holmes of Lansingburgh, Mrs. L. W. Miter of Crotoh Landing, and Mrs. Dr. D. E. Barnes and Mrs. Isaac Tyler, of Troy. The last three named survive. His second wife was Miss Rebecca Grant, sister of his first wife. After her death he married the widow of Charles Seymour. Her maiden name, was Sarah Pecaf. His fourth wife was the widow of William Vanderlip, and her maiden name was Sarah Maria Hawkins. His fifth wife was Mrs. Baker, a widow. Her maiden name was Eliza Follett. Mr.Perry's sixth wife was Marcia Spafford, who died about three years ago.5 |

(Wood) Tobeson, 85, of 236 Blackstone Street, widow of Bernard Tobeson, died last night [4 Dec 1960] at her home, after a long illness. She was born in Kansas City, Kan., daughter of the late Charles and the late Sarah Wood, and has lived in this city for the last 65 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Mrs Tobeson is survived by three daughters, Miss Alice Tobeson, Mrs Agnes Ayer and Mrs Sarah Penner, all of this city; two sons Andrew and Jacob Tobeson, both of this city; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8 at the Ashton Funeral Home, 466 North Maine St. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.15 |
