Cherished by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Austin (Jean) Mabee and sister-in-law Shirley Mabee as well as many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brothers; Walter, Clarence and Donald and sister Marion. Virgie was a long time resident and tobacco farmer in the Port Burwell area and a former member of Areme Chapter O.E.S. The family wishes to thank the staff at Eden House for their compassionate & understanding care.
Family and friends will be received at the Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Mabee officiating.
