Kareen was born Feb. 19, 1938, to Lester and Catherine Mabie in Kennan, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and her brother, Duane Mabie. She is survived by her two sons, David Englund of Isanti and Doug (Alice) Englund of Osceola, Wis; her granddaughter Amanda Englund of New Richmond, Wis; and great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Dahl; her brother Sherburn (Ginger) Mabie of Kennan, Wis; and several other family and close friends.
Kareen grew up in Kennan, Wis., and graduated in 1956 from Phillips, Wis., high school. She married Richard Englund on July 26, 1958.
