Lenwell, Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. James D. (Anna Jane) Stanley, Huntington, Donald B. Lenwell, San Diego, Cal., and James Lenwell, Fort Wayne; two stepsons, George F. Maybee, Jr., Arlington Heights, Ill., and Harold J. Maybee, Zion, Ill; 18 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a brother, J. Blaine Maples, Fort Wayne. He married Minnie Huebner, April 27, 1904. Mrs. Maybee died April 20, 1939. Surviving are five children, Miss Ethel Maybee, city; George Maybee, Zion, Ill; Mrs. Leona Mitten, Mrs. Wilma Garrison, and Robert Maybee, all of this city. There are eight grandchildren. One brother and one sister are dead. Mr. Maybee was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church and was the custodian there for several years.

oObit19 January 2001  On 19 January 2001 the obituary of Wilma Clara Maybee read: Wilma Clara Garrison, 87, Colorado Springs, Colo., died at 12:03 p.m. Monday (Jan. 15, 2001) at Penrose Main Hospital, Colorado Springs, Colo. Mrs. Garrison had lived in Huntington until moving to Marana, Ariz., in 1979. She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Huntington. She was a 1931 graduate of Huntington High School. She was born May 2, 1913, in Huntington, a daughter of Jesse Maybee and Minnie Huebner Maybee. She married Herschel Ester Garrison Aug. 13, 1932, in Rochester. He died Nov. 22, 1967. Survivors include two sons, Philip Eugene Garrison, Marana Ariz., and Donald Leroy Garrison, Colorado Springs, Colo; a daughter, Mrs. Wes (Lois) Neeld, Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Maybee and Robert Maybee; two sisters, Ethel Maybee and Leona Mitten; and two grandsons. Calling is noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Richard Frederick will officiate. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Building Fund, 605 Polk St., Huntington.13

Maybee, aged 55, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at her home, 705 German street. She had been ailing for about six months and had been seriously ill for two weeks. Mrs. Maybee was born June 23, 1883 in Huntington county to Frederick and Augusta Huebner. Her marriage was to Jesse Maybee April 22, 1904. Surviving are the husband and the children, Ethel Maybee, at home, George Maybee, Zion, Ill., Mrs. Leona Mitten, city, Mrs. Wilma Garrison, city, and Robert Maybee, city; three brothers, Frank Huebner, Jenison, Mich., Fred Huebner, city, and William Huebner, Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Coles, city, and Mrs. Clara Fields, Jackson township, and six grandchildren. Two children, Donald and Margaret, and a brother, Carl Huebner, are deceased. She was a member of the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. W. J. Schnedler officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrims Rest cemetery.6 
(Witness) oObit3 March 1942 Leona Augusta Maybee was mentioned in the obituary of Jesse Jefferson Maybee on 3 March 1942; Jesse Jefferson Maybee, 59, died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at his residence, 705 German Street. He worked at the Caswell-Runyan company plant until last November when he retired because of falling health. Mr. Maybee was born January 30, 1883 in Huntington to George and Clara Jones Maybee. He married Minnie Huebner, April 27, 1904. Mrs. Maybee died April 20, 1939. Surviving are five children, Miss Ethel Maybee, city; George Maybee, Zion, Ill; Mrs. Leona Mitten, Mrs. Wilma Garrison, and Robert Maybee, all of this city. There are eight grandchildren. One brother and one sister are dead. Mr. Maybee was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran church and was the custodian there for several years.
The body was returned to the family residence where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran.7

Maybee, 73, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007, at The Medical Center, Beaver. He was born February 5, 1934, in Brockway, Pa., a son of the late Earl W. and Maude E. (Lindy) Maybee. He was retired from the Bulk Mail Facility in Cranberry Township and served a total of 22 years with the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. Morris loved to live his life one day at a time.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Martha J. "Marty" Maybee; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Lois Maybee, Pittsburgh; a cousin who was like a sister to him, Beverly and her husband Jim Carol, Buffalo, NY; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his faithful canine companion, "Chico."
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William B. Henry Jr., of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton, officiating.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.2 
Burial He was buried at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil, Washington County, Pennsylvania.5
