Mr Mabee was predeceased by both his parents and by a sister, Lula Deugau, in 1977. Mr Mabee was born in El Paso, Texas, and moved with his family to Toronto as a child, and in 1908 moved west to Saskatoon with his family. His father was a locomotive engineer with the Canadian National Railways and Alvin followed in his father's footsteps with the Canadian National Railways as a machinist in 19202 until his retirement in 1964. Mr and Mrs Mabee celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary in April of 1980... Interment will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery.6

Mrs Mabee was predeceased by her loving husband, Alvin in 1982, her parents, Kate and Arthur Seward and one brother, Clarence Seward. Mrs Mabee was born in Doncaster, England came with her parents to Saskatoon as a child. She the years she was very involved with her church, Third Avenue United in Saskatoon and Melville United Church in Melville, Sask, where Lillian and Alvin resided for 11 years, she enjoyed singing in the choir and working in the ladies circles. Lillian enjoyed her family and was happiest when with them and in particular loved to have her grandchildren and great grandchildren with her. She kept the knitting needles on the go during her 92 years. She enjoyed lawn bowling when health permitted. Lillian has truly enjoyed every minute in the past years at Luther Towers, singing in the Towers Singers and taking part in many craft activities.... The Funeral Service will be held from the chapel of the Lutheran Sunset Home, Saskatoon on Wednesday conducted by Pastor Gene Grant and Rev Dr Alan Minarcik. Interment will be made in the family plot, Woodlawn Cemetery.3

His tragic death occurred Sunday on the farm of his uncle, John Mabee, RR1, Staffordville, when the tractor on which he was riding, rolled on him. He is survived by his parents, four younger brothers and sisters, and his grandparents, Mr and Mrs James Mabee and Walter Armstrong.5

He is survived by his loving brother Robert Mabee and his wife Brenda of St. Williams, nieces Amanda Mabee (Ben Boughner) of St. Williams and Michelle Block (Nathan) of Walsingham, great-nieces and nephews Calie, Levie and Madaline, aunts Laura Mabee, Simcoe, Susie Mabee, Drumbo, and uncle Walt Mabee (Nancy), New Hamburg, and numerous cousins. Murray was predeceased by several aunts and uncles. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, February 8, 2007, from 7 - 9 p.m. at The Baldock Funeral Home, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Reverend Robert Thompson officiating, followed by cremation with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.5
