(Witness) oObit19 May 1926 Walter Leroy Mabey was mentioned in the obituary of Mary D. Mabey on 19 May 1926 at Schenectady, New York; Mrs. Mary D. Wagner, wife of Stephen Wagner, who had been ill about a week, died at her home in Carman on Friday. The service was conducted at her late home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Mr. Grimm of the Carman Methodist Church. Burial was in the Parkview cemetery.
Mrs. Wagner, formerly of Coxsackie, was born in Friendship. N. Y., and had lived in Carman 20 years. She was an active member of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Carman Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves five sons, two daughters, a brother, Walter Mabie of Supply, Ohio, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.10

oObit*5 June 1895  On 5 June 1895 at Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri, the obituary of Helen Mabey read: Helen L Nichols, the wife of Eli Nichols, was born April 17, 1843, in Friendship, Allegany County, New York. She moved to Missouri about 27 years ago. She was married to Mr Nichols, her present husband, May 22, 1879. Her maiden name was Mabey. She was married twice. She has one living child by her first husband, Mrs A. A. Marshall, of Trenton. Mrs Nichols departed this life May 22, 1895, at the family residence 4 ½ miles southeast of Trenton. The funeral services were conducted the following day... The body was buried at Rural Dale church the same day.1 
Burial She was buried at Rural Dale Cemetery, Marion Township, Grundy County, Missouri. Inscription "Helen L ; wife of; Eli Nichols; died; May 29, 1895; aged; 52 Ys, 1Mo, 12D's."9

oObit*19 May 1926  On 19 May 1926 at Schenectady, New York, the obituary of Mary D. Mabey read: Mrs. Mary D. Wagner, wife of Stephen Wagner, who had been ill about a week, died at her home in Carman on Friday. The service was conducted at her late home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Mr. Grimm of the Carman Methodist Church. Burial was in the Parkview cemetery.
Mrs. Wagner, formerly of Coxsackie, was born in Friendship. N. Y., and had lived in Carman 20 years. She was an active member of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Carman Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves five sons, two daughters, a brother, Walter Mabie of Supply, Ohio, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.11 
Burial* She and Stephen V. Wagner were buried at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. Inscription "Wagner; 1844 S. V. Wagner 1933; His Wife; 1846 Mary D. Mabey 1926."13
