Born in West Milford, near Echo Lake, Mr Mabee moved here after the death of his wife, the former Candace Duree Mabee, nearly twenty-five years ago. He had lived in this vicinity all his life.
Surviving are three brothers: Daniel of Paterson; Theodore of Wortendyke, and Benjamin of Warwick NY; one sister Mrs Chauncy Sandford of Butler, and three daughters, Mrs Clara Mabee of Butler; Mrs William White of Waterviliet, NY, and Mrs Emma Roy of Morristown.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow from the Riverside funeral chapel. Burial will be at the West Milford cemetery.
Mr Mabee followed his trade as a carpenter until about ten years ago, when he retired from active work.7

Mrs Mabie was sixty-five years old and was the widow of Thomas Mabie, and the daughter of the late George McGee, of Echo Lake.
She is survived by five children, Frank and Flora Mabie, Mrs J. Hyland, Mrs Robert Jahn, of Teaneck, and Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains. Mrs Mabie was a Gold Star mother, having lost a son, Ray, who was killed in action in France in 1918. The interment will be made in Mt Rest cemetery.11

He is survived by his wife Flora, and three sisters, Mrs Ruth M Van Dien and Miss Orpah McCue of Bloomingdale and Mrs Frederick (Beatrice) Pettet of Butler.

Born in Jacksonville, Fla, she resided in Butler most of her life. Mrs McCue was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler, and the Ladies Auxiliary of John A Dean Post, American Legion of Butler.
Predeceased by her husband, Frances H in 1966, she leaves two sisters, Mrs Frederick Frances (Irene) Jahn of Pompton Lakes, and Mrs Alice Smith of Pompton Plains.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale. Interment at Mt Rest Cemetery, Butler.3

Mrs Mabie died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains, on Friday evening. Mrs Mabie was sixty-five years old and was the widow of Thomas Mabie, and the daughter of the late George McGee, of Echo Lake.
She is survived by five children, Frank and Flora Mabie, Mrs J. Hyland, Mrs Robert Jahn, of Teaneck, and Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains. Mrs Mabie was a Gold Star mother, having lost a son, Ray, who was killed in action in France in 1918. The interment will be made in Mt Rest cemetery.8

Born in Jacksonville, Fla, she resided in Butler most of her life. Mrs McCue was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler, and the Ladies Auxiliary of John A Dean Post, American Legion of Butler.
Predeceased by her husband, Frances H in 1966, she leaves two sisters, Mrs Frederick Frances (Irene) Jahn of Pompton Lakes, and Mrs Alice Smith of Pompton Plains.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale. Interment at Mt Rest Cemetery, Butler.9

(Witness) oObit16 September 1932 Nina Anna Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of Bertrand Cyrus Mabie on 16 September 1932 at Sussex, Sussex County, New Jersey; Bertrand Cyrus Mabie, well known farmer of near Colesville, was found dead in bed at his farm home there early Saturday morning by his hired man, Saul Hotalan. When the hired man arose in the morning to get ready for the milking he called to Mr. Mabie. Calling again and receiving no response he went to his room. He discovered him dead. Neighbors were notified. Coroner George H McCloughan, Jr., of Newton, was called. Death was believed sue to heart trouble. Mr Mabie was in his sixtieth year. He was the son of Nicholas A. Mabie and Eliza E. Riggs Mabie. He was a lifelong resident of Wantage Township and was a successful farmer. He was twice married. His second wife, Daisy Maude Conway, died a few years ago. He is survived by his aged mother, who resides with a daughter, Mrs Albert Havens, of Wantage; a young son, Bertrand C. Mabie Jr; one brother, Judson D. Mabie, of Lindhurst, L. I; two sisters, Lela E. Wife of Parker McCoy, of Sussex; and Nina A., wife of Albert Havens, of Wantage. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of the sister, Mrs Parker McCoy, with Rev. W. H. Yarrow, pastor of Colesville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Deckerville-Union Cemetery.6

Jcrrett of Mexico; eight grandchildren; a brother, Robert Halsey of Mexico; two...sisters Mrs. Michael (Betty) Crisafulli of Oswego and Mrs. Charles (Marion) Giovo of Mexico.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. a t i h e Gibbs Funeral home, Rev. Bertram Kroop officiating. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Mexico.5

He was married June 30, 1943, in South Bend, to Thelma Nutting, who survives. A June 1953 graduate of Indiana University, he was an Army veteran of world War II and the Korean War, serving during the latter conflict as a Captain in the Finance Corps. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at word of Life Fellowship Church, Mishawaka. The Rev. Mark Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Wakarusa. Arrangements were originally pending at another funeral home. Mr. Mabie died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday (Feb 9, 1991) at Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on Aug 20, 1924 in Mishawaka. He married Shirley Pontius on Sept. 4, 1985. She survives with four daughters, Gloria Spice and Susan Nice, both of Mishawaka, Joyce Overholt, Burr Oak, Mich., and Janice, Cathedral City, Calif; a son, Bill Minor, South Bend; his mother, Mary Ann VanCamp, Mesa, Ariz; two sisters, Bernita Barker, Justin, Texas, and Bernice VanCamp, Mesa; four brothers, Charles VanCamp, Mishawaka, Joseph and William VanCamp, both of Mesa, and Ronald VanCamp, Phoenix; 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Mabie was a supervisor at Freight Trucking and had worked for Tucker Freight Lines, south Bend, for 25 years as a supervisor.5 
Death*27 August 1993 Mary Ann Weber died on 27 August 1993 at Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 87.2
