(Witness) oObit22 September 1904 Leonard Alonzo Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of Mary Ann DePoty on 22 September 1904 at Holley, New York; Mrs. Mary Maybee passed away at the home of her daughter Eliza Sept. 8 aged 61 years seven months, only being confined to her bed one week. She had not been well for a year, but the end came suddenly at the last.
She was married to Leonard Maybee, Sept. 25, 1861. They walked the pathway of life together for nearly 43 years. Eleven children were born to them, four having died in childhood and three after growing to womanhood. Two sons and two daughters, an aged mother and husband, three sisters, three brothers, and 14 grandchildren are left, who feel their lose greatly, but they knew that their loss is her gain.
Mrs. Maybee was a loving mother and kind friend always ready with out-stretched hands to help in any way she could.
She will be missed by her husband and children who have the sympathy of all.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from Sandy Creek church, Rev. Stanley officiating. Interment in Hillside cemetery.10

oObit22 September 1904  On 22 September 1904 at Holley, New York, the obituary of Mary Ann DePoty read: Mrs. Mary Maybee passed away at the home of her daughter Eliza Sept. 8 aged 61 years seven months, only being confined to her bed one week. She had not been well for a year, but the end came suddenly at the last.
She was married to Leonard Maybee, Sept. 25, 1861. They walked the pathway of life together for nearly 43 years. Eleven children were born to them, four having died in childhood and three after growing to womanhood. Two sons and two daughters, an aged mother and husband, three sisters, three brothers, and 14 grandchildren are left, who feel their lose greatly, but they knew that their loss is her gain.
Mrs. Maybee was a loving mother and kind friend always ready with out-stretched hands to help in any way she could.
She will be missed by her husband and children who have the sympathy of all.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from Sandy Creek church, Rev. Stanley officiating. Interment in Hillside cemetery.9 
Burial* She was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Clarendon Township, Orleans County, New York. Inscription "10 Feb 1843 - 9 Sep 1904; Wife of Leonard A., Dau of William Depoty & Lydia Kingsley."10

He had been in the employ of the Hudson Canning Company for many years.
Mr. Mabee belonged to the Maccabees, and at the time of his death had been Sir Knight Commander of the Holley Lodge for three years.
The funeral will be held from the home, No. 51 Jackson Street, on Thursday, September 6, at 2 P. M; Rev. O. R. Newman officiating, and interment will be made in Hillside cemetery.13

Besides hi wife, he leaves one sister, Mrs. George Robinson of Sandy Creek.
He had been in the employ of the Hudson Canning Company for many years.
Mr. Mabee belonged to the Maccabees, and at the time of his death had been Sir Knight Commander of the Holley Lodge for three years.
The funeral will be held from the home, No. 51 Jackson Street, on Thursday, September 6, at 2 P. M; Rev. O. R. Newman officiating, and interment will be made in Hillside cemetery.8 
(Witness) oObit3 September 1936 Mary Martha Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of George W. Robinson on 3 September 1936 at Holley, New York; The death of George H. Robinson of Murray occurred Friday, August 28, 1936. He had been in poor health for the past year but until a week ago was able to be out of doors so his death at the last was quite unexpected.
He was born in Lewiston January 29, 1859, the son of John Robinson Payne and Sarah Bissell. At the age of six years he moved to East Gaines and the remainder of his life has been spent in various parts of Orleans County.     
On June 19, 1886, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Mabee,who survives him, and this past June Mr. and Mrs. Robinson celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. He also leaves four children: Edwin Robinson of Hulberton, Mrs. Fred Robinson of Lyndonville, Fred Robinson and Charles Robinson of Murray, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon from his home. Rev. O. R. Newman officiated and burial wasmade in Sandy Creek Cemetery.9

Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of Mary Ann DePoty on 22 September 1904 at Holley, New York; Mrs. Mary Maybee passed away at the home of her daughter Eliza Sept. 8 aged 61 years seven months, only being confined to her bed one week. She had not been well for a year, but the end came suddenly at the last.
She was married to Leonard Maybee, Sept. 25, 1861. They walked the pathway of life together for nearly 43 years. Eleven children were born to them, four having died in childhood and three after growing to womanhood. Two sons and two daughters, an aged mother and husband, three sisters, three brothers, and 14 grandchildren are left, who feel their lose greatly, but they knew that their loss is her gain.
Mrs. Maybee was a loving mother and kind friend always ready with out-stretched hands to help in any way she could.
She will be missed by her husband and children who have the sympathy of all.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from Sandy Creek church, Rev. Stanley officiating. Interment in Hillside cemetery.7

Mabee of this village died Tuesday January 8. at the home of his daughter in Kendall. The funeral was held Wednesday and the body was brought to Holley and buried beside that of his wife, who died just four months ago.8

She was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Newport, Vt., the daughter of the late Rev. Howard and Margaret (Mabie) Walton. She resided in Lisbon for seven years and moved to Attleboro, Mass., in 1941. She attended Joseph Finberg Elementary School and was a 1951 graduate of Attleboro High School. She received her bachelor's degree in theology from the New England School of Theology, Brookline, Mass., in 1957. She received her master's degree in theology in 1972 and her doctorate of theology in 1976 from Clarkville Seminary, Clarkville, Tenn. Rev. Dr. Walton was ordained to the ministry by the New Hampshire Advent Christian Conference in 1958 in Advent Christian Church, Seabrook, where her grandfather, the Rev. Arthur E. Walton was ordained in 1903.
A third generation of ordained ministers, she was serving as pastor of Four Corners Advent Christian Church in Seabrook and had previously served the church as pastor from 1957 until 1970. She was pastor of First Parish Community Church in West Newbury, Mass., from 1970 until 1981 and hosted a radio program during the 1970s known as "Moments of Meditation" from WNBP in Newburyport, Mass. Since 1982, Rev. Walton has been active with Rand Memorial Church, Seabrook, serving as music minister and organist, interim pastor and was a former deaconess. Over the years she has officiated at many funerals, weddings and has served Seabrook residents in many ways.
She was an accomplished poet and wrote and published several books of poetry and the biography of her grandparents. She had a love for music and was an accomplished organist and pianist. She began playing in Hebron Methodist Church in Attleboro as an organist at age 15 and continued until entering college in 1953. She was an avid student of British, Canadian and U.S. history. She is survived by many cousins. Calling hours will be held Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in Rand Memorial Church, South Main St., Seabrook. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Memorial donations may be made to Four Corners Advent Christian Church, 5 Farm Lane, Seabrook, NH 03874, or to Rand Congregational Church, 134 South Main St., Seabrook, NH 03874.1
