There she had better medical treatment, as her health at this time was very poor. She rode to the Dr's., a distance of two mile on Sunday. She was out on the street Monday morning walking and in the afternoon rode out with the doctor's wife. At night she ate her supper as usual, sat in a chair talking with them, at about seven p.m. March 26th, when all a once she stopped breathing without a struggle or word, like blowing out a candle. She leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Mrs. Myrtia Berrett, two brothers, W. M. Cook of Oakland, Oregon, and H. B. Cook of Junction City, Oregon, a half sister, Alice Cooledge, in Chicago, besides many friends. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Aldrich, pastor of the M. E. Church, and the remains laid in the Cottage Grove Cemetery.1
Death*18 March 1914 She died on 18 March 1914 at Cottage Grove, Lane County, Oregon, at age 62.5,6
