Grace Laidley was mentioned in the obituary of Paul L. Mabey on 22 August 1957 at Binghamton, New York; Stamford—Paul L. Mabey. 37, a- maintenance man for the New York Telephone Co. who had been missing for some 15 hours, was found dead yesterday in this Delaware County community.
State police of the Margaretville substation said his body was discovered hanging in an abandoned building owned by Harry Meeker of Stamford at 11:45 a. m.
Mr. Mabey, a life-long resident of Stamford, had been reported missing since 9:30 p.m. Tuesday they added. His body was found by Paul Murphy, a member of a searching party.
Dr. Sidney Solomon of Stamford, a Delaware County coroner's physician, gave a verdict of suicide.
Mr. Mabey was born March 13, 1920, son of Harry and Grace (Laidley) Mabey. He married the former Miss Catherine Davidson of South Kortright, Aug. 26, 1945.
He was an Army veteran of World War 2 and a member of Aerie 1260, Fraternal. Order of Eagles, in Oneonta.
Surviving are his wife: two daughters, Paula and Mary, and his parents, all of Stamford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a. m., Saturday, at the Sacred Heart Church in Stamford by the Rev. Edward Sheedy, pastor.
Burial will be In Sacred Heart Cemetery.¹⁰

Formerly Miss Margaret Barber, she was born in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Allen and Katherine Ackerman Barber. Mrs Mabee, a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Newburgh, formerly lived in Goshen for more than 40 years.
Besides Mrs Carson, she is survived by two other daughters, Nellie, wife of Capt William Mills of Goshen and Mrs Hazel J Martin of 270 First Street, Newburgh; three grandchildren, Harold and Edward Carson of Bates' Gates, and Seeley Mills of Goshen.
The funeral was held this morning from the house of her daughter at Bates'. A solemn High Mass of Requiem was offered in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Middletown. Burial was in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, by Isaac Hasbrouck.⁶

Marie Maybee was mentioned in the obituary of Henry Monroe Villines; Henry Monroe Villines, 78, of Ponca, died Tuesday 20 December 1983, at Boone County Hospital. He was born January 12, 1905, at Low Gap, a son of Frank F. and Caldonnia Wishon Villines. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Maybe Villines, Ponca; three sons, Robert Villines, Springdale; Waymon Villines, Ponca; Kenneth Paul Villines, Mount Carmel, IL; three daughters Pauline Clark, Harrison; Dene Duty, Boxley; Patricia Fancher, Kingston; two brothers, Dewey Villines, MO., Martin Villines, Springdale; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jarvis Villines and by two sisters, Nora Layton and Cynthia Villines.
Services were Friday, December 23, at Christeson Funeral Home Chapel, Burial was in Plumlee Cemetery under the direction of Christeson Funeral Home.⁷
