Anthony died on 12 August 1919 at home ranch, near Miles City, Custer County, Montana, at age 33; MILES CITY DAILY STAR; Aug. 13, 1919; p. 2; "FELL WITH HORSE FATALLY INJURED/J. Anthony Died of Injuries Received When Horse Fell Yesterday: J. Anthony, a well known rancher living about ten miles north of this city, was fatally injured yesterday when a horse which he was riding, fell with him. Mr. Anthony was pinnned to the ground when the horse fell, and the animal in struggling to regain its feet, kicked him in the head, causing fractures which ended his life about four o'clock yesterday afternoon. The accident happened near the home ranch on the north side, about 8 o'clock yesterday morning, and as soon as possible the body was brought to Miles City and placed in a local hospital. "Mrs. Anthony, wife of the injured man, was sent for and arrived from the ranch about noon, but Mr. Anthony never regained consciousness. "Deceased leaves two children besides his wife. "Relatives at Rothiemay, and his mother residing in Iowa, have been advised of his death, and pending word from his relatives the body will remain at the Plimpton mortuary, where it was taken following his demise."7 
oObit14 August 1919  On 14 August 1919 at Miles City, Custer County, Montana, the obituary of Frank J. Anthony read: MILES CITY DAILY STAR; Aug. 14, 1919; p. 5; "ANTHONY FUNERAL FRIDAY AT TWO P.M./Services at Presbyterian Church in Charge of Rev. B. L. Kline: Arrangements have been completed and are announced for the funeral and burial of Frank Anthony. Mr. Anthony was the principal in an accident which occurred near Rosebud[?], when riding on a horse, it shied and jumped over a cut bank dragging him a number of feet and kicking him fatally in the head. The accident occured about eight o'clock on Tuesday morning when he was immediately brought to the city on the train and admitted to the hospital. He did not regain consciousness and lingered until a little after three o'clock when he died. "The funeral will take place from the Presbyterian church on Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. B. L. Kline of the Christian church officiating. It is understood the Presbyterain choir will furnish the music. Burial will be in the Miles City cemetery. "Mr. Anthony was a prominent rancher living about eight miles north of the city and was a man of estimable qualifications, highly regarded by neighbors and friends. He leaves a wife and two small children, a little boy a year and a half old and a little girl four years old. "His mother and sister, Mrs. Sellar, both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, have arrived in the city, and Mrs. Anthony's mother of Portland, and her sister from Rothiemay are expected to arrive in the city to be in attendance at the obsequies."5

The funeral took place on Saturday at the residence of W. Gould, from where a large cortege, proceeded to the place of burial.
The age of the late Mrs. W.B. Mabee of Richmondville, Sanilac Co., Mich., who died on the 13th inst., was 78 years 4 months and * days. Deceased was born in New York State, lived in West Oxford for 53 years. but had been living with her daughter for the past seven months in Michigan., where her death occurred. Her remains were interred in Ingersoll Cemetery. She leaves behind her nine children, three sons and six daughters as follows: Mrs. Stewart Canfield Beachville; Mrs. W.R. Gould Beachville, Mr. Levi Mabee Winnipeg, Mr. W. Mabee West Oxford, Mrs. Wm. Poole Kansas, Mrs. J. H. Hayes Dakota, Mrs. W. Birdsall Canboro, Francis Mabee Dakota and Mrs. Warren Schell Michigan.4

(Witness) oObit26 January 1917 Cora Amelia Mabey was mentioned in the obituary of Horace Mabey on 26 January 1917 at Catskill, New York; Horace Mabey, a respected citizen and lifelong resident of this community, passed away on Jan. 19th at the age of seventy - three years. His illness covered a period of only a few weeks, and his condition was considered serious for but a few days prior to his death. The funeral was held at the church on Jan. 23d, with Masonic honors, as he had been a member of the Order for over fifty years; sermon by his pastor, the Rev. S. E. Sargeant; burial in the family lot. He is survived by his widow, two daughters (Miss Cora Mabey and Mrs. LeRoy France), one son (Edward), three grandchildren and one sister (Mrs. Warren Finch), all of this place, and one brother (G. H. Mabey of Oak Hill), besides a large circle of other relatives and friends, who mourn his loss.5

July 5th. never fully regained consciousness and passed away early on Thursday. July 8th. aged seventy-two years. The funeral was held at the church on Saturday and was conducted by the Rev. S. E . Sargeant of Pine Hill, the Rev. C. F . Robson of Durham and Dr. R. S. Inglis of Newark, N J. Mrs. Mabey was a loving mother and a kind friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed. She is survived by two daughters (Miss Cora and Mrs. LeRoy France), by one son (Edward) and three grandchildren all of this place; also by two brothers (Edward and Milton Gruett of Newark. N. J.) , as well as by a large number of friends. The sympathy of t h e community is extended to the mourners in their sorrow.7

"On Oct. 27th. at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. LcRoy France, Miss Cora Mabey of this place was united in marriage to Fred. Randolph of Newark, N. J., the Rev. R. L. Mauterstock performing the ceremony and only the immediate relatives being present. The best wishes of the community are extended to the happy couple, who will make their home in Newark."8 
Death*19 May 1937 Cora Amelia Mabey died on 19 May 1937 at Cornwallville, Greene County, New York, at age 63.9,10 
Burial* She and Fred Mandeville Fritz Randolph were buried at Cornwallville Cemetery, Cornwallville, Greene County, New York.9
