Madeline Hansen

F, #30474, b. 20 June 1930, d. 18 March 2005
Married Name Her married name was Mabey.1
Birth*20 June 1930 Madeline Hansen was born on 20 June 1930 at Niter, Caribou County, Idaho.2
Marriage*1 March 1951 She married Keith Brisky Mabey, son of William Albert Mabey and Nan Lou Brisky, on 1 March 1951.3
(Witness) oObit19 October 2003 Madeline Hansen was mentioned in the obituary of Kathlyn Mabey on 19 October 2003 at Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho; Kathy Mabey Gardner, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away unexpectedly at Minidoka Memorial Hospital, Oct. 15, 2003. Kathy was born Nov. 7, 1963, at Soda Springs, Idaho, the fourth and youngest child of Keith and Madaline Mabey. She was her daddy's "made to order" red-haired, blue-eyed, baby girl. She grew up in Bancroft, Idaho, and was well loved by her family and friends. Attending North Gem High School, Kathy was very involved. She participated in drill team, band and volleyball while attending four years of LDS seminary. She served in many high school offices including class president two years and was valedictorian for the class of 1982. Kathy continued her education, attending ISU for six years with an emphasis in business. Education was always important to her and she continued to take classes till the time of her death.
Kathy chose to marry Scot Gardner, May 17, 1985, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have four beautiful children, Timathy (17), Morghan (14), Jonathon (12) and Sierra (9). They have made their home throughout Utah and Idaho, where Kathy was well known for being hardworking. She has been employed outside the home as a librarian, taught computer classes in grade school, worked as a substitute teacher and established a home grocery business. She and Scot have recently made their home in Rupert, where Kathy worked in management for SunStar Dairy in Rupert.
Kathy loved life and was obsessive about the things and people she enjoyed. She knew how to be a good friend and always befriended the lonely. Kathy was an active member of the LDS church, serving in many positions including Sunday school teacher and working with the cub scouts. Kathy enjoyed and made time for arts, crafts and ceramics. She even learned to spin her own wool. It was also very important for her to pass on the passion she had for horsemanship and animal husbandry to her children. With all Kathy's work and activities, her first priority was always her role as a wife and mother.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Keith B. Mabey, and a brother, William Mabey.
She is survived by her husband, Scot Gardner; her children, Timathy K., Morghan R., Jonathon L. and Sierra B. Gardner; her mother, Madaline Mabey; two brothers, Christopher and Danny Mabey; her sister, Rose Nan, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. All will miss her.
There will be a viewing for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, at the Hansen Mortuary, 710 Sixth St., Rupert, Idaho, and one hour before the service at the Rupert 3rd Ward Chapel. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the Rupert 3rd Ward Chapel, 526 S. F St., Rupert, Idaho. A second service will be held at 3:30 p.m. that same day at the Bancroft LDS Chapel in Bancroft, Idaho. Interment will follow at the Bancroft Cemetery.
The entire family would like to express gratitude for the wonderful outpouring of love and concern from everyone. Thank you! In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Kathy Gardner Memorial Fund at any D.L. Evans Bank branch office.4

Death*30 May 2019 Clyde J. Mabey died on 30 May 2019 at Heyburn, Minidoka County, Idaho, at age 86.8
oObit*31 May 2019  On 31 May 2019 at Twin Falls, Idaho, the obituary of Clyde J. Mabey read: Clyde J Mabey, 86 of Heyburn passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. He was born June 19, 1932 to John James and Alice May Walker Mabey in Oakley, Idaho. He was the youngest of 12 children. He was raised in Oakley, Idaho in the Marion area and graduated from Burley High school in 1951.
During his childhood, he helped his sister and brother in law with chores on a farm that belonged to Ruby and Leon Bywater. Little did he know that the little obnoxious girl that lived there would one day be his soul mate, Mary Ann Jolley Bywater.
Dad was drafted in November 1952 into the Korean War serving in the Army. He served from November 21, 1952 until the cease fire on June 27, 1953 and was discharged in 1954.
After returning from the War, dad went on a hunting trip and was reunited with that little girl from days gone past and fell madly in love. They were later married on December 30, 1954.
After their marriage they brought 5 children into the world, Kerry, Terry, Pam, Patty and Mark.
Dad was a hard worker and worked many jobs at once to support and feed his family. He and mom purchased a farm, where they resided at the time of their deaths. He never backed up from hard work, milking cows by hand, gathering water cress to sell to the local stores, farming, and raising animals to sell and eat while maintaining a fulltime job. In 1968 they started their own pallets business, calling it Mabey's Pallet and Lumber.
Dad and mom made a good life together. They enjoyed spending time with the family, going for long drives in the mountains, fishing, hunting and more than anything a hot game of poker. But most of all after retirement they loved to spend time at their cabin in Palisades watching the animals in their own setting and nature at its finest.
Dad was preceded in death by his soul mate Mary Ann, his parents, one Grandson Tyson Blevins and all his siblings except one sister.
He is survived by his loving children Kerry Blevins, Terry (Ellen) Mabey, Pam (Patrick) McDaniels, Patty (Ike) Shockey, and Mark (Dolores) Mabey. 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as many loving step grand and great grandchildren. Everyone of them were loved just the same.
We would like to thank Minidoka Home Health, Mini Cassia Hearts for Seniors and Harrison's Hope Hospice for all the care and compassion that was shown to dad and the entire family during his struggles over the last year.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Hansen Mortuary 710 6th Street Rupert with burial to follow at the Riverside Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by the Mini Cassia Veterans. Viewing for family and friends will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 and one hour prior to services. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.8
