Besides his wife he leaves to morn the following children: Mrs. Paul Kline of St. Petersburg; Mrs. Minnie Fuller of Reynoldsville, and Mrs. Alice Irwin of Lawrence Township. Two brothers, B. S. Mabie of Dubois, and W. H. Mabie, and one sister Ann F. of Penfield, 19 grandchildren and six great - grandchildren also survive.
The deceased was a faithful member of the M.E. Church. Mr. and Mrs. Mabie have been residents of Lawrence Township for 54 years.
Funeral services were held at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Hyde on Monday afternoon, Rev. Raymond Hoffman, officiating. Interment in the Centre Cemetery.2

Mabie was mentioned in the obituary of Harriet June Henry on 19 September 1939 at Clearfield, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Harriet June Henry, widow of John Mabie and formerly a resident of Clearfield, died August 31 at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Gallagher, of Brisbin.
Mrs. Mabie was born July 31, 1860 thus making her age 79 years and one month.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Paul Kline of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. A. C. Fuller of Reynoldsville. Fourteen grandchildren also survive.3 
(Witness) oObit Carrie E. Mabie was mentioned in the obituary of Minnie Anna Mabie; Mrs. Arthur Fuller, 64, of Reynoldsville R.D.1 died in her home on Thursday, March 22, 1951; after an illness of 15 years.
Born in Clearfield on July 13, 1886, she was the daughter of John and Harriet(Henry)Mabie. She was united in marriage with Arthur Fuller on June 12, 1912.
She was a member of the Emerickville Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband and one sister Carrie Kline of St. Petersburg, Fl.
Funeral services were held from Ober funeral Home in Reynoldsville, on Saturday March 24, 2 p.m. with the Rev. Williams Hills officiating. Interment was in Meade Chapel Cemetery.4

"Before Surrogate Leone D. Howell yesterday, relatives of the late Mrs. Bella Strobe, of Grove Street, Hempstead, appeared to contest the probate of her will in which she cut off her kin, for the most part with $1, and gave her estate to Halstead Hartman, a clerk who lived at her home. Mrs. Strobe was 62 years old when she died. The relatives declare that Mrs. Strobe was not capable of making a valid will and that she, was unduly influenced in the disposition of her property. Surrogate Howell heard but little of the testimony yesterday and the case was not finished, adjournment being taken for four weeks. Mrs. Strube died December 9 last, says Assistant District Attorney James N. Gehrig, whose firm. Seabury, Seaman A Gehrig, appear for the will. Mr. Gehrig also says that the following nephews and nieces received $1 each under the will Lillian Cullen, 1845 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn; Lillie, Louisa, John and William Marquis, 586 Warren Street, Brooklyn. To Mrs. Marie Schroeder, a sister, of 150 West 105th Street, Manhattan, was given what cash was in the bank, but two brothers, Harry and Pierre Mabie, of Waynesville. Ill., got a dollar each."10
