oObit*  The obituary of Vallance Augusta Huntress read: Hermon, Nov. 17, -- Mrs. Vallamce Augusta Huntress Zellar, died at her home in Marshville, town of Hermon, at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, after a week's illness with pneumonia.
She was born in DeKalb, May 21, 1859, the oldest of five children of the late Willard and Rosetta Dailey Huntress. On Sept. 23, 1877, she was married to Oscar Zeller of Russell. For the past 44 years they lived in Marshville, town of Hermon. To them were born five children. A daughter, Florence, died at the age of 13 years.
She leaves her aged husband; two daughters, Mrs.Blanche Goodale, wife of Howard Goodale, Edwards; Mrs. Luella Morrow, wife of Ernest Morrow, North Russell; two sons, Alton of Mannsville and Leon of Fowler; 15 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lena Tupper of Dekalb Junction. Funeral services were held at the home November 12, with Rev. Mr. Nichols of Hermon Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Burial was in Rusley cemetery, Dekalb.1
