Formerly from Saskatoon, Mr Mabee owned and operated Fast Car Wash and the Sportsman's Restaurant in Saskatoon. He played and managed the Saskatoon Gems Baseball Team, winning the World Global Series in 1955, as well as managing the Saskatoon Quakers Hockey Team in 1959-1960. He moved to Calgary in 1962, purchasing the Rocket Car Wash in 1965. He was also director for the Calgary Expos Baseball Team. Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery and Funeral Home on Friday with the Rev Jim Perry officiating. Interment to follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.5
