Surviving are three children, Duane (Jan) Wise of Concord, N.C; Vivian (Charles) Lehmann of Island Lake; and Eleanor (Rick) Dwyer of East Peoria; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur (Suzie) Kennedy of Deer Creek; two sisters, Elsie Azbill of Eureka and Virginia (Ken) Platte of Greenville, S.C; son-in-law, Jim Bays; and several nieces and nephews.
Alice worked at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, retiring in 1984, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Peoria.

Alice worked at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, retiring in 1984, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, with the Rev. John Bunch officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek.8

He served for many years on the Mt. Zion Cemetery Board in Deer Creek, IL.
Art attended New Castle Bible Church in Deer Creek, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, with Pastors Phil Somers and Kevin Sauder officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, prior to the service at the church. Burial with military honors will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek.
Memorials may be made to New Castle Bible Church. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton is handling arrangements.7
