A veteran of World War II Mr. Sherwood served with the 195th Automotive Weapons Battalion. He was employed as a mechanic at A. J. Habiger Sales and the Dale Wichman Ford in Iola until five years ago when he moved to Tulsa where he was employed at the time of his death, at the Convey Serving Company.
He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.' in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home.
The Rev. Donald Hood will officiate and burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery.3
