  Married: a news article read: "Prof. D. C. Meek was at Shelby Thursday night in attendance at the wedding of Squire Alphonso B. Mabee and Miss Mary S. Craiglow. The Rev. J. B. McClay officiated. About 60 guests were present and a fine wedding supper was served. Mrs. Mabee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Caiglow.
