  	Wilbert Arthur Walt passed away March 19, 2008 in Trenton Ontario. Born in Murray Township on March 5, 1922 he was the son of Philip Wesley Walt and Olive F. Alyea. He spent all his life in the area. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maxine (Lusk), sons David (Moya), Bob (Linda), Gary (Lynn), Carl, daughter Angela (Peter) Johnson, as well as one brother, two sisters, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, and 4 grandchildren. Interment took place at Stockdale Cemetery north of Trenton, where so many maybees are buried. Wilbert was a descendant of Capt. Abraham Maybee U.E. 1748-1832 through his son Peter Maybee 1775-c1830 and granddaughter Sarah (Maybee) Gunter c1816-1852. Wilbert's daughter Angela and son-in-law Peter Johnson are members of the Maybee Society and both Maybee descendants.
