  	James "Pappy" Maybee, 67, of Lapeer (formerly of Oakland County), died Monday, March 8, 2004. He was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Orion Township, to Ralph and Velma (Fields) Maybee. He loved to bike. He also enjoyed weight lifting and being a horseshoe player. He is survived by his children, Richard (Rebecca) Maybee of Lapeer, James (Karen) Maybee of Grand Blanc, Jeffrey Maybee of Pontiac, Brenda (Ronald) Harris of Waterford, James DelReal of Lake Orion and Christina DelReal of Lake Orion; grandchildren, Leticia, Bryan, Travis, Lonnie, Heather, James Jr., Lashanda, Tyler, Crystal, Sierra and Kevin; great-granddaughter, Lorianna; and siblings, Charles, Mike, Betty, Sylvia, Sandra, Sharon, Julie and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Velma (Fields) Maybee; sister, Pat; and brothers, Bob and Jack. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Funeral services were Thursday (March 11) at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. The Rev. Todd Smith officiated. Burial was in Oregon Township Cemetery.
