- Thomas J. Mabee, 81, of 268 Guy Park Ave., was dead on arrival at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital this morning at 4 o'clock, where he was taken by GAVAC after being stricken at his home. Mr. Mabee was born in Amsterdam on Oct. 17, 1888, the son of James N. and Anna Waterstreet Mabee. A plumber by trade, and a member, of the Plumbers' Union, he was first associated with his father in a plumbing shop on former Spring Street, then in 1914, became employed by various out of state construction companies. He returned to Amsterdam seven years' ago. Survivors include his wife, the former Agnes Sigerer, to whom he was married on July 4, 1911; one son. James J. Mabee, Schenectady; three grandchildren, Mrs. Richard Patrick, Westmere; Thomas Mabee, Selkirk, and Richard Mabee, Colonie; and six great-grandchildren; also a brother, William Mabee, Glen Wild; two sisters, Mrs. George Adams and Miss Ritie Mabee, both of Amsterdam; and several nieces and nephews.

- Miss Martha Anne Deuel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seneca R. Deuel, 218 Cilzbe Avenue, this city, and James J. Mabee, son of Mr. and Mrs. ,T. J. Mabee, Albany, were married Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock in the manse of the Trinity Reformed Church. The Rev. Walter S. Maines, pastor of the Church, performed the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a green ensemble, with brown accessories, and wore a shoulder corsage of Johanna Hill roses and Sweetheart buds. Miss Lois Graham, Utica, who was bridesmaid, wore a brown ensemble, with matching accessories, and a shoulder corsage of Talisman roses.
Raynold Deuel, Jr., Schenectady, a brother of the bride, was best man. The bride's gift to her attendant was a gold lavalier and chain, while the best man received a gold necktie set.
Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Mabee left for a wedding trip to the northern lakes. They will be at home to their many friends in an apartment at 218 Clizbe Avenue upon their return.
