- Santee, Calif – Private services have been held for Pamela Mabee Labbee, 35, who died July 17.
Mrs Labbee, a six year resident here, was a graduate of Tempe High School and Arizona State University. She had been an employee of the City of Tempe in the personnel department.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son Brett; her parents, Mr and Mrs Jack Mabee; two sisters and a brother.

- Patricia Ann Mabee, 81, cherished Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away February 11, 2001 in Mesa, Az. She was born February 17, 1919 in Cadillac, Michigan. Throughout her life "Pat" enjoyed many activities and interests. For several years she and husband, Jack, owned and managed hotel properties. She was an avid golfer, bird watcher, hiker, and rock hound. She also spent many years exploring Arizona and traveling with her family and friends. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Jack; son Skip Mabee; daughters C. S. McFadden and Candace Mabee; grandsons Brennan McFadden, Jason Mabee, Bret Lebee, Joshua Quick and Kelcey Mead; brother Richard Ensign and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by four siblings and her daughter Pamala Ann. Pat's life was very full and long, but she will be greatly missed by her family and her many dear friends. Private services will be held.

- ‘Jack' Louis Gerald Mabee, 84, beloved Father, Husband, and Grandfather, passed away September 20, 2001 at home in Mesa, AZ. Born March 16, 1917, in Peoria, Illinois to Louis Mabee and Zella Mae Lawrence, he married Patricia Ann Ensign of Cadillac, MI, in 1938. Married 63 years, ‘Pat' preceded him in death February 11, 2001. They raised their family in East Peoria, IL where Jack owned and operated businesses. An active community leader, he served terms of office in the VFW, American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and Rotary International. In 1958 he moved his family to Tempe, AZ, and became successful in life insurance as a C.L.U. Then for 10 years he owned, managed, and brokered hotel properties in California. He returned to Arizona in the late 70's to become General Manager of the Dobson Ranch Inn and other Valley hotel properties. In 1982, he and Pat retired to to Sunland Village in Mesa where they were avid golfers, and enjoyed traveling. Jack is survived by his son Skip Mabee; daughters C. S. McFadden and Candi Mabee; grandsons Brennan McFadden, Jason Mabee, Bret Labbee, Joshua Quick and Kelcey Mead; and many nieces and nephews. Jack was known for his ready smile, quick wit, and kind nature He and Pat lived long and full lives, but they will be greatly missed by their family and friends. Private services will be held.
