- Charles H Mabie, 26, of 8 Sidney avenue, Rutherford, was killed at 9 o'clock last night when an automobile he was driving struck a curb and overturned on River Road near Donaldson Avenue, Rutherford.
Mabie was pronounced at Hackensack Hospital where he was taken by the police.
Mabie, a bartender at the Linden House, Delawanna, was driving alone in a car owned by his employer, John Freudenberg....
Mabie, who lived in Wallington before moving to Rutherford about 2 months ago, was employed for years at a chain grocery store in Lyndhurst. He had worked at the Linden House about 6 weeks.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Agnes Ramler [Hamler], and a 4-month old son, Robert.
