- Mrs. Edith Rush Mabee died at her home, near Mansfield, Tuesday after a few days' illness with pneumonia, aged 42 years. She is survived by her husband and four children -- two sons and two daughters. Mrs. Mabee was a stepdaughter of Mrs. Sarelda Rush, of Butler. Funeral services are being held today, Friday, at 10:00 at the home. The following persons from Butler are attending: Mrs. Sarelda Rush, Floyd Alexander and wife, and P.J. Littleton and family.

- Services for John F. Mabee will be held Saturday at 10: a.m. at the Fine frock Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert J. Han, pastor of Ontario United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Calling hours are at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Mr. Mabee, 75, of 1584 Pleasant Valley Road, Lucas, RD!, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening in Mansfield General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 8 1912, in Washington Twp., living most of his life in Springfield Twp., and moving to Pleasant Valley Road in 1961. He was a graduate of Ontario High School.
After 33 years with the Tappan Co., her retired in 1966 as plant superintendent He also was involved with farming.
He was a member of Ontario United Methodist Church; charter member of Ontario Lions Club; member of the first Tappan Quarter Century Club; Richland Co. Farm Bureau and F.H. Marquis Lodge No. 690 F& AM.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Shrylock Mabee, to whom he was married for 51 years; a son Jerry R. of Mansfield and two grandchildren.
Two sisters and two brothers predeceased him in death
