  	Lt Douglas C. Mabee son of Mr and Mrs Lyman C. Mabee, 977 Shelby-Ontario Rd, was killed in action in the Chu Lai District of Viet Nam on April 10. The family was notified yesterday of the death Lt Mabee was born in Shelby, May 13, 1946. He was graduated from Ontario High School and was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Bowling Green State University in 1968. He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and was a management trainee with Montgomery Ward Co, before entering the service. In addition to his parents, Lt Mabee is survived by two brothers, Lt Keith Mabee of Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind, and Bruce Mabee a student at Bowling Green State University ; also his grandmothers Mrs Mary S. Mabee, 392 West Third St, and Mrs Daisy Simmons, 110 Blymer Avenue
