- Relatives and friends here of Martin V. Mabee, a veteran of the Civil War and a member of Sydney Post, No. 41, G. A. R., have been informed of his death a week ago last Wednesday at the Soldiers' Home in Bath. The funeral services were held there and the remains interred in the cemetery in connection with the home. He was about 69 years of age and had been ill for a long time with Bright's disease. For many years he was a resident of the city. He is survived by three brothers, Nathaniel T. Mabee of this city, George of Elmira, and Jacob of Alpine

- Nathaniel T Mabee died suddenly yesterday at his home, 119 Hudson Street. Mr. Mabee was stricken with apoplexy yesterday morning and died last evening. He was 65 years old. Besides his wife he leaves a son, who resides in Cortland, and a daughter, Mrs. Edna True, of Rochester.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the home and will be private. The Rev. Wallace E. Brown will officiate. Interment will be in Lake View Cemetery
