- John Henry Mabie. inventor of the Mabie. fountain pen and a member of the firm of Mabie, Todd & Baird; manufacturers of pens, at 130 Fulton street, died suddenly of heart disease at. his home on Central avenue, Hackensack Heights. Mr. Mabie. was apparently in good health when he reached his home .on Tuesday evening. After dinner he and his son Charles took an automobile ride.
Returning to the house, Mr. Mabie complained of a numbness in his arms and soon lapsed into semi-consciousness. A physician was hurriedly summoned but he could not revive the stricken man, who died a short time afterward. Mr. Mabie was 56 years old. He leaves a widow and two sons.

- Harold S Mabie, 65, for many years manager of the experimental farm of Peter Henderson and company, New York, seed merchants, on Lincroft road, Lincroft, died yesterday at Riverview hospital. He resided at 14 Peters place.
Born in Hackensack, the son of the late John H and Irene Westervelt Mabie, Mr Mabie was a member of the Horticultural Society of New York; the New York Florists club; the Monmouth county Horticultural society, and the Exempt Firemen's association of Maywood.
Mr Mabie is survived by his widow, Mrs Ethel M Mabie; two sons, John H Mabie of Wantagh, Long Island, and Floyd H Mabie of North Arlington; a brother, Charles H Mabie of Hackensack, and three grandchildren.
The Blount Memorial Home, Red Bank, has charge of arrangements
