- [Died] On Friday, 23rd June 1961, at Grace Hospital, Orlando Cleeton Mabee, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Gertrude Mabee, of 356 Campbell Street. Mr. Mabee was horn in Belleville, Ontario, and moved to Winnipeg in 1910, where he has since resided. He was employed by Dominion Motors as a Salesman. He was a member of Westminster United Church. Funeral service will be held at 1.00 p.m. Monday from the Clark Leatherdale Funeral Home, 232 Kennedy Street, with Rev. Nelson Mercer officiating. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Surviving him besides his wife are, a son Alan in Winnipeg, a daughter Mrs. D. W. Brown of Vancouver, and five grandchildren. A brother Arthur in Winnipeg, and a sister, Mrs. J. Palmer in Belleville, Ont.

- James Richard Mabee of Edmonton passed away on Saturday September 4, 2010, at the age of 55 years. Jim is survived by his father G. Alan Mabee; two brothers, Dan (Deanna) and Alan R. (Betty); his nephew Dan and four nieces: Dawn, Debbie, Julie and Laura. Jim was predeceased by his mother Eloise in 1989. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be celebrated by his family and close friends on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Serenity Funeral Service (North/Central Chapel) 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton. - Mary Eloise eldest daughter of Mr. W. J. Robinson, to George Alan Mabee. only son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan- Mabee, took place Wednesday, at 7 p.m.. at the bride's home, 862 Calrossie boulevard. Fort Garry. Rev. Lloyd C. Stinson officiated. Spring flowers combined with ferns were used as decoration. The bride wore white mousseline de soie with insets of lace on the the skirt and the long sleeves. Tiny buttons on the yoke ended in a small collar. She wore a haln of the lace with a finger-tip veil of the mousseline de soie and she carried white roses and snap dragons. The bride's sister, Batten, attended Lyall Paxton was best man. A reception was held. The couple will spend their honeymoon at Kenora and will reside in Winnipeg. For traveling the bride changed to a frock of dusky rose.
