Phyllis “Phyl” Margaret Mabee 91, Passed away, peacefully August 15, 2026 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden hospice in Kamloops British Columbia
Born on June 18, 1935 in Nipiwan Saskatchewan, Phyllis was the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Crawford. After graduating high school in 1953, Phyllis started her career at Saskatchewan telephone as a telephone operator in Weyburn, and then transferred to Regina to work in the drafting department.
In 1956, Phyllis married the love of her life, Allan Mabee and in 1965, they moved to British Columbia, where they built wonderful life and raised two children.
Phyllis finished her career with the bank of Montreal retiring in 1995, after which she travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada . Phyllis was very passionate about her family, camping and she was an avid fan of the Blue Jays baseball team. Phyllis will always be known for her warmth, kindness and compassion toward others.
Phyllis was proceeded in death by her father Robert and her mother Elizabeth, her brothers Raymond and Robert, her sister Joan and her granddaughter Stacie.
Survived by her husband, Allan her daughter, Cindy (Robert), son, Brett (Susan), her grandson’s Allan (Marla), Eric (Jenny), Paul, Robbie, Nicholas and great grandchildren Sylas, Alivia, Presley, Macey, Robert, Vinny, Dane, Goldie. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
