- Friends of Joseph G Mabee, former Patersonian, will regret to learn of his death on Monday at his home in New York City. Mr Mabee was a brother to Winifred Mabee of the Paterson high school faculty and Charles Mabee who is living in Summit. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mary Oates Mabee and the two brothers. The funeral services were held in New York city today.

- Last rites for Robert F Mabee, 20, of 83 Lincoln avenue, Totowa Borough, were held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at his home. The Rev Charles Hunt, pastor of the Union Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
Mr Mabee, son of Mr and Mrs Winifred Mabee, died Thursday. He was a student at Rutgers University and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
His father is a teacher at Central High School.
In addition to his parents, Mr Mabee is survived by two brothers, Lieut Richard S Mabee, stationed at Fort Monmouth and John R Mabee, a medical student at Boston University, and a sister, Mrs Daisy M Gilmore, of Packanack Lake.

- Richard S Mabee of 142 E Emerson St, Melrose, Mass, died yesterday at Melrose Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Paterson, Mr Mabee graduated from Central High School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a research physicist at Bedford Air Force Base and was the Author of many technical papers. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his widow, the former Blanche Lavos; a son, Robert Jr, a Student at MIT; a daughter, Janet, a student at Pembroke College; his father, Winfred of Totowa; and a brother Dr John R of Little Falls.
Funeral and interment will be in Melrose, Mass, from the Marston Funeral Home on Saturday.

- Little Falls – Dr John R Mabee of 24 Center Ave died unexpectedly Friday morning in St Joseph's Hospital, Paterson
Born in Paterson, he resided in the Towata-Little Falls area most of his life. Dr Mabee was graduated from Harvard University in 1938 and Boston University Medical School in 1942. He interned at Paterson General Hospital in 1943 and was an attending physician there.
Dr Mabee served as a captain with the U.S. Army in the European Theater in 1943 to 1945 and was awarded a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star , and the Silver Star.
Dr Mabee was a member of the New Jersey and Passaic County Medical Societies and belonged to the American Medical Association. He belonged to the United Methodist Church of Little Falls.
The funeral services will be Monday at the Norman A Parker Funeral Home, Little Falls with the Rev Frank Dennis of the United Methodist Church and the Rev Aidan T Smith of the First Methodist Church, Passaic, officiating. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Towata.
He is survived by his wife, the former Eva Ditano; one son, Jeffrey, a junior at Syracuse University, a daughter, Mrs Theodore (Joan Leslie) May of Haledon, his father Winifred S of Towata, a sister, Mrs John (Daisy) Gilmore of Harvard, Mass, and a grandson Shawn.

- Winfred S Mabee, 91, died Thursday in Greater Paterson General Hospital, Wayne.
Mr Mabee was born in Tarrytown, NY, and lived in Paterson and 55 years in Totowa before moving to Little Falls four years ago. He was a 1908 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Columbia University. He taught in the Paterson school system 42 years, serving as mathematics department head at Central High School.
Mr Mabee was a member of the New Jersey Educators Association and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc. He belonged to the United Methodist Church of Totowa 59 years and was active in its Sunday school and a member of its official board and board of trustees.
His wife, the former Daisy Ball, died in 1963 and three sons preceded him, Robert in 1841, Richard in 1969, and Dr John R in 1970.
He is survived by a daughter Mrs John (Daisy) Gilmore of Harvard, Mass; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Mrs John (Eva) Mabee of Little Falls, and Mrs Richard (Blanche) Mabee of Melrose, Mass.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church. Moore's Home for Funerals, Paterson has charge of arrangements.
