- The United Church at Petersfield, Man., was the scene of a pretty wedding, Dec. 9, when Lavina Annie Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Madill, of Petersfield, became the bride of Mr. George F. Mabee, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.S. Mabee of Selkirk. Rev. R.L. Bouchard performed the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in green flat crepe, showing a shirred bodice of cire satin. Her hat was a matching halo with a veil, and she wore Johanna Hill roses. Her only attendant was her sister, Miss Gladys Madill, gowned in blue. She wore American Beauty roses. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Wallace Mabee.
