- Robert Lindsay Baird, 56 years old, of 1230 Putnam avenue, an engineer in the employ of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences and a resident of Brooklyn for more than thirty years, died on Tuesday from Bright's disease after an illness of six months. His funeral services, today, were conducted by his pastor, the Rev. A. H. Crosbie of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church. Mr. Baird was born in Scotland. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mabie Baird; two daughters. Mrs. Isabelle Betts and Mrs. Charles Shoemaker; a brother, John, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Bolles.
