- Roy R Mabee, 62, died yesterday at Dover General Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Johnsonburg and moved to Dover 36 years ago from Newton.
Mr Mabee was a solderer at Co-operative Industries, Chester, for 27 years before retiring in 1952.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in Europe.
Surviving are his wife, Vera; three sons, Roy R. J., Newton, Michael J, Danville, and Jeffery M, Rockaway; a daughter Susan Vontetzlaff, Budd Lake; four brothers, Charles C, Morris Plains, Ira A, Stanhope, James L, Sparta, and Wilfred L, Mine Hill; a sister, Eva E Washer, Branchville; and five grandchildren

- Vera Mabee died Thursday at Dover General Hospital and Medical Center after a short illness. She was 69.
She was born in Birmingham, England, and came to the United States in 1946, settling in Newton. She moved to Dover in 1950.
Mrs Mabee was a mold injector at Austenal in Rockaway Township for 10 years before retiring in 1966.
Her husband Roy R died in 1986.
Survivors include three sons, Roy R Jr of Dover, Michael J of Newfoundland, Pa, and Jeffrey M of Tampa, Fla; a daughter Susan Vontetzlaff of Dover; two brothers, Leonard Styring of Newton and John Styring of Birmingham; two sisters, Sheila Clayton and Jean Lennon, both of Birmingham; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
