  Anecdote	The New England Medical Monthly records the following case: Among the papers of the late Thomas Atwater, of New Haven, Conn., the following memoranda were recently found: ‘Mrs Mabie, No 100 Twenty-ninth street, New York, of the firm pf Topping & Co., has been married forty-eight months. July 24th, 1858 had 1 child July 30th 1859, had 2 children March 29th, 1860, had 2 children March 4th, 1861 , had 3 children Feb. 13th 1862, had 4 children These 12 children were all born within three years and seven months and are all living and healthy".   	Mrs. Ida Mabie Marquis, 52 years old, wife of George Marquis, a maker of gold pens, died yesterday from bronchial pneumonia, at her residence, 154 Fourth avenue. Mrs. Marquis was born in New York City, was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Sixth avenue and Sterling place. She is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, John and William, and two daughters, Ellen and Louise. Her funeral will bo hold tomorrow afternoon, with Interment In St. John's Cemetery
