  	Washington Mabie, died at the residence his son, Emmett, Saturday, December 21st, aged seventy years. Funeral services were held at the house and Christian church Tuesday, December 24th, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Bassett. Interment in the South Valley Union cemetery. Mr. Mabie is survived by his wife and one son, Emmett Mabie, one daughter, Mrs. Ina Haner of Chenango,.Broome county, one brother, David Mabie of Amsterdam, one sister, Mrs. Bert Greely and several grandchildren and other relatives to mourn his loss
