- Oscar-D. Mabie died at 8:10 o'clock yesterday morning, at his home, 30 Third street, after a stroke of apoplexy Thursday.
Mr. Mabie was born at South Valley, N. Y., May 15, 1860. and graduated from Lowell Business college. After being employed in several places in this state, he came to this city about 20 years ago and had since been employed at the General Electric works as inspector of the fire department.
He was married twice, his first wife being Addie Persons of Worcester. N. Y. In-1909 he married. Anna Welch of Paterson, N. J., who survives him.
Mr. Mabie was a member of Schenevus Valley lodge of Masons.
He is survived by his widow, three sons. Arba, DeForest and Dorr, and one daughter. Eva of Schenectady; his mother. Mrs. Louise Mabie, and two brothers and two sisters, Elmer and Gifford and Maude and Eva of South Valley.
There will be a brief service at the house' at 2 o'clock this afternoon, after which the body will be taken to South Valley, where the funeral will take place to-morrow, with burial in the South Valley cemetery

Funeral service to which relatives, friends and members of Woodlawn Lodge No I69 IOOF and GE Quarter Century Club are invited, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Griswald funeral home, 1867 State st.. Woodlawn. The funeral home will be open to friends Thursday evening after 7 o'clock. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery
