  	Mrs. Mary Shilletto Mabie, wife of E. Herbert Mabie, passed away early Tuesday morning at her late home after a long, painful illness. Her funeral was largely attended Thursday afternoon from the Christian church of which she was a faithful member and teacher in the Sunday school when her illness began. Her, pastor, the Rev. Myron Tripp, officiated and interment took place in the local cemetery. Bearers were the three sons of the deceased, Herbert, Jr., Frank and Frederick, her two son-in-laws, Elliott Brodie, James Webster and Fred Snyderi She-was born fifty-seven years ago at Mead, Washington and came here when very young. She was the daughter of the late John and Luella Shilletto. She was a graduate of Cooperstown, High school and Schenevus Teachers' Training class and taught five years prior to her marriage in 1912 to E. Herbert Mabie, who survives her; also five children, five grandchildren, an aunt, Mrs. Nellie Shilletto, Oneonta and an uncle, William Michaels, Cooperstown, besides a host of: friends who extend sincere sympathy to the. bereaved family.
